The following document will be laid out on a table in the drawing room:
Autopsy Report - Daisukenojo Bito
Cause of Death - Apparently a fatal wound
Location of Body - Chapel, near the altar to the north.
Time of Death - Between 9 AM and 11 AM
Condition of Body - Wounded in three places. Deep gouge in right shoulder, slit throat, wound in left side of chest with an exit wound on his back. Extremely bloodshot eyes.
Condition of Scene - Pews moved out of placed around chapel. Beat's skateboard pushed under a pew. Pew against south east wall covering what seems to be a bullet hole three feet above ground. Another pew to the south covering a small pool of blood on the ground. Elsewhere, blood seems to have been wiped up.
There is room at the bottom of the page for others to add notes. Beat's information card is laid out next to it.
Finally, one table is nearly empty. There are 10 boxes labeled Exhibit A through Exhibit J, as well as paper and pens for writing. The boxes are empty.
[This week, there is now a very large board in the center of the room, with pins to attach sheets of paper to. Particular theories about how a certain part of the crime could have been accomplished, a certain person's alibi, motives, or any other aspect of the crime you believe your character can explain should be written up and posted here.

Once again, the contestants are ushered into the drawing room, this time at 9AM Friday morning. This trial, they will be investigating the death of Daisukenojo "Beat" Bito.
Upon everyone's arrival in the drawing room, the doors are shut and the week's suspects are revealed. This week, the suspects will be Gundam Tanaka, Kaoru Nagumo, May Chang, and Rapture.
This week, the trial gets off to a dramatic start when May Chang confesses to the murder. It seems she was entering the chapel when Beat attacked her. She was knocked out, but threw her kunai. When she woke, he was dead. She took the kunai from his chest and ran.
Rapture points out that the gun available as a popularity prize some weeks ago would likely be in her, Gundam, or May's possession. Stiles says he knows which of the three have the gun. Rapture and Kaoru discuss whether a rifle, from the deadweight list or from Annie, could have been responsible for the bullet, but Lithuania says this is not the case, so Stiles realizes only one revolver could have been involved.
Gundam gives a long speech that amounts to a confession that he was the one with the gun, but he's since destroyed it. Sonia asks how it was destroyed. Gundam claims it was flown over the fence, but Sonia says this was not possible, so Gundam instead claims his bird must have left it in a tree, but he got rid of the bullets. To Rapture, he claims someone could have found the gun, lured Beat and May to the scene, and set them against each other. To others, he's simply belligerent and unhelpful. Sonia confronts him about this, but he continues to give inconsistent answers. Susan suggests he's protecting May, but Alice can't see why when May didn't look suspicious to begin with and Gundam strenuously protests.
Stiles asks Gundam to roll up his sleeves. Once Gundam does, it becomes clear his arm isn't bandaged the way it usually is. He claims his old bandages got muddy, but refuses to answer what he did with them. Stiles wraps his arm in the bloody bandages and sees that they seem to fit, implying the bloody bandages wrapped around a rock and thrown in the pond belonged to him.
Susan claims Gundam's nonsense over the gun is getting off track. She proposes a theory that Beat mistook May for someone else, someone who was trying to kill him. May threw her kunai in his shoulder, and the person trying to kill Beat killed him and rearranged the scene. Alice wonders if even partially blinded Beat could mistake May for anyone else, but Kaoru and maybe Gundam seem like a possibility. Rapture points out how lucky the killer would have to be in this scenario.
Rapture and Susan discuss the gunshot, and Rapture proposes the gun must have made the wound in Beat's chest. Susan proposes the gunshot could have happened before the altercation with May, but then she would have heard it, so it's suggested it happened while she was unconscious. Susan proposes the killer shot Beat, then moved him to the altar and widened the entry and exit wounds with the kunai and stuck it in to disguise the shot.
May says she does not think Beat was blinded, and that he would have known it was her, because she called her name at him. She believes the blood pool is where she and Beat had been fighting, but she doesn't think anyone had been there fighting with Beat beforehand. Susan wonders if some sort of poison or hallucinogen could have been responsible for his state.
Trying to retain some normalcy, Lithunia brings in the body, Poland does room searches, and Felicia desecrates a corpse. Felicia shares her discoveries about the body - the chest wound seems to be from a gun (with a kunai shoved in it to obscure the wound), the shoulder wound from a kunai, and the throat a deep kunai wound also shallowly slit. Rapture concludes someone did try to frame May, but Felicia wonders why use the gun at all. The two also discuss whatever Gundam's deal is, and if he's seeming so suspicious out of guilt or awkwardness. Spain thinks sometimes it is what it is. Lithuania, Susan, and Felicia discuss whether a drug was needed to make Beat act the way he did, and what his bloodshot eyes mean.
Meanwhile, Stiles confronts Gundam with the incredibly incriminating bloody bandages and the missing gun, demanding answers. In response, Gundam confesses, claiming to have stumbled upon Beat after May was knocked out, battled with him, and ultimately shot him and doctored the scene to frame May. Everyone reacts with not so much shock but a healthydoseof skepticism. Sonia and May especially doubt his confession. Finally, Susan confronts him privately, and his answer is cryptic.
Unsatisfied, Sonia points out that the position of the bullet is at odds with what Gundam describes, and that Beat would have had to be lying on the ground, dying or dead, for the bullet to hit at that angle. Sonia and Alice discuss whether there could have been a third party, but Sonia points out it makes sense for May to be skilled at throwing kunai. Gundam rejects this theory and claims this was the way the battle happened, before getting angry and refusing to cooperate anymore.
Rapture attempts to get back on track gathering alibis. Gundam is succinct but unhelpful. Rapture claims to have been asleep. May and Kaoru were planning to picnic together at the chapel. May went ahead while Kaoru was still cooking, so there would be no way Kaoru could have gotten to the chapel before her. Kaoru confirms she was cooking and preparing floral arrangements and intended to follow May when done. When asked by Susan she says it would have been another fifteen minutes to complete the arrangements when the clock chimed at 11:05 and she stopped. She felt May would have been safe on her own.
Finally, May makes a second confession, as the day draws to a close. She does not believe her kunai missed, but that she threw it and killed Beat when it pierced his throat. She believes Gundam came upon the scene and did all of the other wounds to the body to try to frame himself for framing May. Gundam seems to finally break down and admit the truth, but Susan refuses to accept this and says there was a third party, and poison was likely involved first, meaning there is an option besides May. Gundam, meanwhile is totally losing it.
Lithuania and Poland drop a bombshell, saying there's a passageway between the wine cellar and chapel. However, they can't seem to get it open. And that's when the clock chimes, signalling the end of the day.
[Once everyone has been ushered into the drawing room, the doors shut and lock behind them, and the smoking room doors open. The Hostess emerges out of them, today wearing a daring pair of loose-fitting silk ladies' trousers and a draping black silk blouse. As always, a dark veil is covering her eyes.]
Good morning. I trust everyone had a splendid time at the party. Why, I'm sad I couldn't attend.
[May's been unusually reclusive for the past day, only appearing briefly at mealtimes and avoiding long conversations with anyone who tried talking to her. When she shows up at the trial, her eyes are red-rimmed and puffy as if she's been weeping for hours. Without bothering to glance at the autopsy or findings, she sits on her knees and addresses the room immediately after the trial begins.]
There is no need for a trial. I killed Beat.
[She withdraws her handkerchief from her sleeve and unrolls it to reveal a single bloodstained kunai as her panda frantically squeaks and paws at her, trying to get her to stay silent.]
He attacked me in the chapel, and he was so strong that I just - I retaliated without thinking. I know I should have left the kunai in his chest, but I...I was just so scared, I didn't know what to do, I'm sorry!
[She wipes her eyes on her sleeve.] I didn't want to die here, my people are depending on me back home, and so I thought if no one found out...b-but to let someone innocent take the fall for me, I just couldn't--!
I wouldn't lie about something like this. If you need proof, he managed to wound me in our battle. [She rolls up her left sleeve to reveal a bloody bandage wrapped around her arm.]
It would not be a very funny joke if it was. [She tries to smile, but can't quite get it to work.] At least you, Mr. Gundam and Miss Kaoru will not have to worry about being executed this week.
I don't know why he would either. He always seemed to be a kindhearted person...but perhaps he was simply as good as acting as Spain had been. I am certain that he was completely serious about wanting to kill me.
No! [ For the first time ever since playing this game, she sounds gravely serious. ]
It doesn't matter if it was in self-defense, you're still a kid. You're supposed to be... I don't know, thinking werewolves are real, not being executed!
My age does not matter here. I broke the rules. I could have tried to knock him out or aim somewhere non-fatal, but I was too foolish to think of it at the time. I can't let someone be executed for my own stupidity.
