I wouldn't lie about something like this. If you need proof, he managed to wound me in our battle. [She rolls up her left sleeve to reveal a bloody bandage wrapped around her arm.]
I don't know why he would either. He always seemed to be a kindhearted person...but perhaps he was simply as good as acting as Spain had been. I am certain that he was completely serious about wanting to kill me.
It's all right. I don't want you to vote for anyone else. The reason I confessed is because I also cannot see anyone innocent die for what I did, so I know how you feel.
But I still killed him. I could have tried to knock him out instead, but I didn't. Even if it was self-defense, I am more guilty than anyone else on the suspect list.
It is far from the worst injury I have ever had. I could have perhaps healed it with my alkahestry but I thought...if I was going to be executed anyway, there wouldn't be much of a point.
Um...it is from a shuriken, if that is what you mean? He had the ability to summon these large ones out of nowhere. I was able to dodge the first two, but the chapel was a small enough area that I could not avoid the third.
They're a fairly common weapon in my country. [She draws the shape with her finger on the ground.] They're shaped like four-pointed stars, with each branch being a blade. They're normally small enough to be used as throwing projectiles, but the ones Beat summoned were larger than any I've ever seen and bright red. I don't think they were even made out of metal.
His card does list a lot of powers, but I never thought he would be the type of person to kill someone with them either. He was incredibly fast as well - if he'd attacked anyone else here, they probably would not have survived.
[May stares up at Annie, surprised, before smiling weakly.]
Thank you. [She hesitates.] And...I am sorry for how I treated you after your trial. I was so angry that you just let Ukraine die for a murder she did not commit, but you were doing it to save your people. When I realized I killed Beat...for a long time, I considered doing the same thing. It might have been only when I saw the suspect list just now that I changed my mind.
Annie, I know you hid something from me when I took your possessions away after you killed Minatsuki. Your "prize" that is. What is it and where is it?
[ooc: hope you don't mind - didn't see the need to make this top level]
Because I didn't want to paint a target on my back by taking a crossbow or a rifle. I've already murdered once... I don't need to give anyone an excuse to doubt my shaky credibility.
...I don't need any of that other stuff, but I've been preparing my own food since that week, if you've noticed.
[She won't apologize for making the mistake, even if the urge is there, because Annie is still a murderer regardless of her current actions. But she's thankful that the girl is far more realistic about the matter than some others have been.]

[She unwraps the bandage to reveal a long gash along the outside of her arm. The wound's mostly clotted by now, but it's obviously fresh.]

What did this shuriken look like?

[A beat. She doesn't say the next thing unkindly.]
This is a knife wound, isn't it?

What does a shuriken look like? I don't think I've seen one. I never thought Beat could be so dangerous, too.

And still, I'm glad you weren't harmed more than this.

They have your back. Be glad.

after a talk with susan...

Food and water. I thought you only wanted the weapons in my room.

Well, yeah, I did only want the weapons. But you took the food and water? Why?

Thank you for answering.
