I keep it open because I don't want to be killed. That way if someone knows it's closed without seeing me around the manor at the same time, then something's wrong.

You'd be right, but you think I would have run into someone along the way. Even if a secret passage is involved, it's going to either be somewhere in the mansion or somewhere leading outside. I'd have to either be very sneaky or very lucky to manage to sneak out of my room to wherever it is and back without being caught by someone.
There is more we're missing, but where do we even look? We could rehash the alibis over and over, but it's in such an open space that nobody but those who were there can account for it. May could have misremembered something, someone would have to go out early enough to follow Beat, their luck is practically tenfold that she was knocked out so they could arrange the scene, but there are too many factor with loose ends...

You only envy should come from knowing that The Stingers have been through a lot together, but we've always come out on top. The autopsy doesn't make that any different. I'm still going to win for us and we're going to be more famous than any other band in history!
