[Saturday begins much like Friday, with no further answers provided, and no means of escape. However, at 3 PM on Saturday, the old grandfather clock in the foyer begins to chime. From the foyer, the ballroom doors stand open, and the room is bright with sunshine. Soft, dreamy music plays from a radio inside.

Inside the ballroom, what seems to be a magnificent party is laid out. There is a buffet table laden with finger foods - vegetables and dips, finger sandwiches, pastries, fruit, and cheeses. Next to the table are glasses filled with wine, champagne, or juice. Most of the room is empty, with room to stand and talk, although towards the windows looking out on the courtyard are six tables with five place settings each, set for a larger meal.

And then there's a seventh table, at the back of the room, on which are thirty small notebooks. Inside, the notebooks appear to be some sort of album, with each page containing a picture of and information about your fellow guests.

After everyone has filed in, the doors shut and lock behind the final guest; the doors to the courtyard close as well. You'll have some time to talk amongst yourself, for it will be another hour of dining before anyone else appears]

[With all the people crowding round Latvia hadn't gotten the opportunity to speak to the hostess, not that it would do much good. He wouldn't be able to ask enough questions to make any sense of the situation.

With the reveal he'd lost his appetite and he just sits there staring at his food and mumbling to himself]

It's just a joke... right? Did she really say 'murder mystery'?

It's not like it would be real murders...

But the poison...

[Gosh, this kid doesn't look like he's taking the situation well.]

The knives look fairly dangerous too. You'd be best off not touching them.

[The sudden voice startled him and Latvia quickly snaps his attention to Kanaya]

Y-yes!

... I'm sorry, this is all just a bit much to take in.

It certainly is... [Kid...]

At least we don't learn the rules in their entirety until tomorrow. Say what you will about our hosts' morals, but they're certainly committed to some degree of gradation.

In a way that has me more worried...

I don't like not understanding the situation. But it's not...

You don't think she actually wants us to murder people, right? It's just a television show so it'a all special effects.

She doesn't seem to be entirely content for us to stick to staging...

[unsure whether to continue convincing this kid it's real because he needs to cope somehow come on]

[Latvia bites his lip and fidgets uncomfortably]

But that's not... I really don't want to die.

None of us do.

I-I know but...

[He isn't sure exactly why, he'd died before... kind of. However for some reason the prospect now carried a great feeling of doom]

I just feel like something really bad would happen if I did.

[motheringnation]

[She'll sit down next to him.]

I don't know. Maybe we'll find out more tomorrow.

[balzams]

[He rubbed at his eyes. Ukraine was the last person he wanted to see him crying]

D-do you think they'll tell us how to get home?

[motheringnation]

I don't know....

I hope so. If they don't...we'll just have to figure it out for ourselves.

[She offers what is hopefully a reassuring smile. It's hard to keep a non worried look when she's actually terrified but she doesn't want to worry the younger nation.]

[balzams]

If they want to keep us here... it'll probably be really hard.

Hey... Y-you don't think there'll be real murders, do you? It's just a show after all.

[motheringnation]

....Well they can't make us kill anyone right?

[balzams]

... That's not really what I asked.

[He starts to tremble a little at the implications]

I'm not sure. I would like to say no....but.

[balzams]

[Sniff]

I-I appreciate your honesty.

[But that doesn't stop him from being scared]

Either way, there's no good in worrying on an empty stomach.

( Personally, he doesn't believe it. What sort of insane person would think this was a good idea? )

[Latvia glances up at Spain and then back to his plate]

I'm sorry, Mr. Spain. I just don't feel that hungry right now...

Are you really worried about what she said? ( He can't help but snicker some, but it's too himself, not at Latvia. ) Everything she said was ridiculous.

No one in their right mind would be serious about such a thing.

[balzams]

Y-You don't know that!

People can be cruel...

[pasodoble]

Of course I do! ( He sounds confident. ) No one would watch a game like that and if there isn't an audience then there's no reason to play either.

Nothing will happen.

[balzams]

I-I think you severely underestimate how much people like seeing others suffer...

[pasodoble]

( What a pessimist. )

... Do you have someone here in mind?

[balzams]

Not really...

[Well, maybe one but he isn't 100% certain yet]

It's just from past experience.
