[Saturday begins much like Friday, with no further answers provided, and no means of escape. However, at 3 PM on Saturday, the old grandfather clock in the foyer begins to chime. From the foyer, the ballroom doors stand open, and the room is bright with sunshine. Soft, dreamy music plays from a radio inside.

Inside the ballroom, what seems to be a magnificent party is laid out. There is a buffet table laden with finger foods - vegetables and dips, finger sandwiches, pastries, fruit, and cheeses. Next to the table are glasses filled with wine, champagne, or juice. Most of the room is empty, with room to stand and talk, although towards the windows looking out on the courtyard are six tables with five place settings each, set for a larger meal.

And then there's a seventh table, at the back of the room, on which are thirty small notebooks. Inside, the notebooks appear to be some sort of album, with each page containing a picture of and information about your fellow guests.

After everyone has filed in, the doors shut and lock behind the final guest; the doors to the courtyard close as well. You'll have some time to talk amongst yourself, for it will be another hour of dining before anyone else appears]

[Like he said, Spain didn't seem like a bad person. It might be a good idea to make some allies he can rely on]

It's just that I've worked for a lot of people, some of them weren't very nice. So if it's okay... I'd rather not call you boss.

Well, if you're going to insist on worrying then you must know it isn't good to worry on an empty stomach.

( He sounds so matter-of-fact about all of this. Like he's an expert on relaxation and worrying, oops. )

You'll only make yourself hungry later and that would be one more thing to worry about.

( Leaving the rooms to walk all the way down to the kitchens all to get a midnight snack? Even Spain would be a little concerned here. )

[Well that was a good point there. Latvia wasn't exactly planning on leaving his room tomorrow unless he had to. Eating now would mean he wouldn't be forced to leave early]

O-Okay... But you have to promise not to kill me.

[pasodoble]

( Victory for Spain. )

I have to promise and not make you call me boss? Ay, you're a hard bargainer. ( And now he's back to teasing. He's joking obviously, but whether or not Latvia catches that, Spain wouldn't know. ) Hmm... It's a deal.

[balzams]

[Latvia can tell that he's joking, but to him it sounds more like a mocking tease rather than an attempt to lighten the mood. Still, he start's picking at his food so it really is a victory]

You mean it? If you do then... then...

[And he tries his hand at joking himself]

I'll possess you and make you jump out of a window.

[Except with his tone of voice it comes out like a serious threat]

( That

actually scares him some?! Come on Latvia he just talked to a girl about how the house was haunted by possessive spirits not too long ago. When Latvia says this, he'll... slowly reach for the salt. )



O-of course.

[balzams]

[Oh hey, guess who unintentionally got dragged into being that girls assistant? Don't worry, he's thinking of quitting]

G-Good...

[Now he just feels awkward that his joke didn't go well but Latvia slowly starts eating anyway. He only gets through about half before he starts staring at it with a grim expression on his face]
