This post will cover the weekend period from the end of trial Friday evening to early Sunday evening, when new incentives will be announced. No murders will take place over this time.

[godwhisperer]

[He stays standing, as though thinking for a moment.]

Hm, hm, hm...

[The hamsters scamper into his palms and he watches them as though they're about to show off something incredibly terrifying.]

"Star-Destroyer Grey Fox" Sun-D! "Steel Red Elephant Maga-G"! Reveal your Swift Wind Rodent Foliage Technique!

[godwhisperer]

[He holds out his hand and the two hamsters immediately scamper down his coat and pant leg to the ground. They run to a small cluster of flowers and begin to chew through the stems of one. Sun-D takes the flower in her mouth, Maga-G lifts her up, and she jumps into the air, does a backflip, and scampers up Sonia's dress to drop the flower there.

BARF.]

[ WOW, BARF.

Sonia could not look happier. She turns bright pink, though, and an expression of shock and alarm crosses her features. ]

F-for me? Thank you! I will cherish it! [ It seems like she's talking to the hamster, but she's looking at Gundam, and it's all quite barf. ]

[godwhisperer]

Through that ability, they can collect any item you would wish! Plants for food, poisons, or spells! That one may be brewed along with other ingredients to create a potion that will restore magical energy after spellcasting!

[Okay, so maybe he didn't intend that to be as adorable a display as it seemed. Or did he? No, he probably didn't.]

You see? Such is their power!

[teenspirit]

[ She looks down at the flower. ] I'll think about the potion. [ No she won't. She puts it in her hair. ]

Can they really tell which plants are poisonous? That's amazing. It's something that could save a life in a situation like this.

[godwhisperer]

...Only plants they would recognize. In the lands I have traveled with them, they have learned to be wary of certain plants, but they would not know every one that exists here.

However, their sense of smell is incredibly powerful. Were there any unusual odor in anything I or they intended to ingest, they would detect it instantly. Their hearing is similarly without flaw, so any foe who sought to use deception against us would be swiftly revealed.

[ She reaches out to try to pet Sun-D. ]

Isn't it cruel... that they brought them here with you...

[godwhisperer]

[Sun-D will happily allow herself to be pet, while Maga-G will scamper back up Gundam's coat. He looks a little uncomfortable with the statement, and strokes the sleeping Jum-P with his thumb.]

I have no intention of allowing any harm to come to them.

[teenspirit]

...What will happen if you... [ It doesn't really seem okay to ask, so she has trouble finishing the sentence. ]

[godwhisperer]

I am not in fear for my life. Though it occurs to me that to be falsely chosen as a villain...

I have made arrangements all the same, lacking though they are. But the beasts I have left behind at home...all I can hope for is no harm will befall them.

[teenspirit]

A villain? Who would choose you as such?

[godwhisperer]

Hah.

Villain suits me well. I have never claimed to live my life as anything else. If they mistake me for a tiger of another stripe, I could not fault their judgment. I am far less innocent than the one who was condemned already.

[teenspirit]

...Really? Have you done worse than murder, Tarou-san?

[godwhisperer]

...Your concept of morality is difficult for a being such as myself to comprehend. I have killed before, but always for specific reasons. Those deaths were not crimes to myself but acts of mercy, and would not have been considered crimes to mankind, I think.

[Yeah, he means he's put animals to sleep before. Still, he says it completely seriously, and in his own view of the world it doesn't seem like an inaccurate statement to make.]


Yet much of what I believe to be despicable is lawful in your world, as well. But I am indeed a being of great evil, for reasons I would not be able to explain, not yet.

I do not maintain any pretense I would not commit murder to further my own ends, or claim to not be so wicked as to deserve suspicion.

[teenspirit]

[ Oh jesus Gundam everything you say just makes you seem like a better guy. ]

Mmm... That's fine. I accept that. [ She pets Sun-D again. ] Won't you sit down?

[godwhisperer]

[He nods, and, adjusting his coat carefully so no one gets squashed, sits himself down on the ground. He maintains a little space from her, a little over a foot, and sets the other two awake hamsters down on the grass to scamper around.]

Despite my wicked nature, you are content to remain? If my intentions were to end your life...

[This is getting into some Twilight shit now.]

[ Oh my god it's fucking Twilight.

She looks at him and says what Bella would say, which is also what Sonia would say right now. ]

I'm not afraid.

[ It's not that she's condescending at him, or defying him, it's that she thinks he has alternate reasons for suggesting such a thing, and those reasons probably have nothing to do with thinking about killing her. She wants to trust in that. ]

[godwhisperer]

No, you are not. To be aware of my power and to refuse to bend...

[He chuckles to himself a little.]

I believe you are a more dangerous foe than you yourself are aware.

[teenspirit]

[ Sonia smiles. ]

I told you so. [ And she leans close for a second, almost close enough for their shoulders to touch, but then she pulls away. ]

[godwhisperer]

[He frowns a little when she does that. He did almost want her to, for whatever strange reason the idea doesn't fill him with the disquiet the idea of contact usually does. But he isn't able to forget he can't be touched, or he would poison her.]

...Do not let your guard down. I would not harm you intentionally, but I would not be able to control it should my defenses fail.

[teenspirit]

[ It's okay, Edward Cullen... it's gonna be alright.......... ]

I believe you could. Are you not the mighty tamer of the Four Dark Gods? Someone who has wrestled with the gods themselves... I think he could control it.

[No, it's too much all at once. He doesn't move, but he goes tense, like he's about to.]

What is it that you're trying to achieve?

[ Edward's reaction alarms Bella, who hugs Sun-D close to her chest in surprise. ]

Trying to... achieve? Excusez-moi?

[godwhisperer]

[He honestly seems really agitated, and not in a sexy vampire way.]

Why...why are you acting like this towards me? What are your intentions in this, I don't...
