Chloroform Disposal Brigade | Friday - Monday | Everywhere

The Chloroform Disposal Brigade consists of many members of the house who feel that they would all be better off without any chloroform available. Feel free to thread under here as either someone being accosted by the CDB or as a member knocking on people's doors and demanding their chloroform. Everyone please feel free to jump in and thread with everyone else.

Of note is that Stiles, Marlow, and Susan have magically replenishing chloroform and may need to make other arrangements.

Monday, 7:00 PM: Bar

[ One SHSL Princess is standing behind the bar with a great variety of wines in front of her, and a few glasses. She'll call out to anyone that passes by. ]

Excuse me! I know there has been a rather somber feeling in the manor, as it should be, but I would like to take your mind off of things for a bit with a little learning opportunity!

[Poland doesn't particularly want to keep his chloroform but somehow it doesn't seem like a good idea to just dump it when other people have magically refilling bottles.]

Monday, 2:00 PM: Garden

[ Minatsuki is just relaxing here, sitting among the flowers, assembling a chain of them in her lap. She seems kind of worried. ]

[Kaoru recognizes her from the first day in this manor and doesn't hesitate to approach. gardens are soothing in a way; the sight of a flower chain, on the other hand, is enough to bring about a smile.]

A flower crown, miss?

[ She gives a start, looking over her shoulder. She seems somewhat embarrassed. ] Ah! Shit! I was just... yeah.

[Coming in and leaning against the bar.]

What's wine?

Y-you don't know what wine is?! [ Kanaya, you're a vampire!! You're supposed to be full of gothic cliches, like drinking wine out of pewter jewel-encrusted goblets!! ]

[MINATSUKI oh no that's endearing... Kaoru politely stifles a laugh.]

May I have a look? I've always had a fondness for flower crowns.

[Despite being put into the "dead weight" category, Touko certainly isn't letting that deter her from continuing on with life as if she doesn't risk getting killed. Which is why during daytime, she can be caught under relatively public, open, and well-lit spaces, such as

Monday ; Ballroom ; 10AM+

Touko has an assortment of small kitchen knives out set on the table aside her, and a head-sized bowl.

No really, she's working on a cantaloupe. You gotta find some ways to stave off boredom, right...

Monday ; Drawing Room ; 3PM+

In the afternoon on Tuesday, she's moved on with her letter opener working on pieces of soaps retrieved from the bathroom. One looks suspiciously like a cat with a ribbon on its tail, the attention given to the details and the quality of the craftsmanship is also nothing to sneeze at. She's quite focused...

Tuesday; Music Room ; 4PM+

Same deal, now with a piece of wood found outside with the pocket knife. The shape of what she's sculpting isn't clear, but she does stop once in a while to draw something over it with her finger and mutter a word. Some might recognize it as runes, and whether that's tampered with the properties of the knife or the wood is uncertain, but seems to help with what she's doing (?). Nothing changes the fact that she's not paying attention to anything else though, short of a cup of coffee on the table by her side.]

[staring at these cantaloupe flowers in total fascination. It's pretty and it's fruit, so Rin is basically obligated to love it.]

Wooow, where did you learn to do that? ♪

[as good an excuse as any!

She does smile back though, pulling back to take a small break with the interruption.]

Practice, of course, although a good eye for detail doesn't hurt. Is it your first time seeing that sort of thing?

Yeah, in person at least. You mean you taught yourself? ♪

[ She thinks Sonia is a complete doll and, while she doesn't need her mind taken off things, she's definitely going to saddle on up to this learning opportunity. ]

MONDAY — BILLIARDS ROOM — 11PM
[ Rapture's hardly ready for bed — such as the lifestyle of a rockstar requires one to stay up into the late hours of the morning — so she figures that playing a game of pool or cards might kill the time.

Everything seems so solemn and it's boring, but she wants to have fun. It's like all the good components to playing a game left with Bernkastel's "execution." She can't help but blame the witch for being such a fool for giving in so early. Didn't cats love playing with their prey before they killed it? She reaches for the deck of cards when something catches her eye: a box of supplies.

Not only that, but magic supplies. Though, when she opens it, she doesn't deem anything interesting enough to really use. Not even Astral or Houdini would be caught dead with this. Still, she removes the pack of trick cards, settles down and begins to shuffle the deck. Perhaps she could do a reading for whomever crossed her way? ]


TUESDAY — POND — 2PM
[ Keeping up with her regular sunbathing activities, Rapture is pursuing the beauty of the pond today. She continues wearing the typical 20's yellow bathing suit with proper sunglasses, though it doesn't seem to fit stylistically with someone from the 80's. Especially with her typically gaudy eye make-up. For now, she's leaning against the bridge, looking at the pond below. ]

I had a gift for it, let's say, and I enjoy making things in general. We could all stand to indulge in our hobbies a little to unwind under such a stressful environment, don't you think?

[she sure doesn't sound stressed, no matter what she says...]

[She's not thrilled with being stuck on the list of "dead weight" players but staying in her room is probably more dangerous considering the risk of a skeleton key. So she simply decides to stay in areas with people in them. Hopefully that will work. If not she also carries her pitchfork around with her.]

[She's reading some of the mystery books she's located in the study, relocating to the library first though. She's got a small pile of them next to her.]
