Until I enlisted, we lived on one loaf of bread each, a day. I can't remember much of my training days, but it was mostly bread and potatoes for trainees. [She remembers being on kitchen duty a lot, but not those she's spent it with.]

More or less. Humanity's lost most of its cultivated lands since we all live in walled areas now, so resources are low. Refugees received the lowest portions.
