So--something that wasn't poison, but was something. [That's not vague at all.]

Yeah, I've got no clue either. But it doesn't look like they used the poison from the list of tools.

That would have probably made it turn black, if it was... [Or Lithuania hopes so, at least.] We just need to figure out what was used instead, then. Do we even have any drugs or poisons in the house anymore that could do something like that?

[They tend to dump those out as soon as possible.]

No idea, I'm not a chemist. The only thing I've heard of that might turn you violent are drugs like PCP, but I can't imagine that being easily found in the house.

Ritalin? Yeah, it's for my ADHD. It doesn't turn you crazy, if that's what you're wondering, it just stops me from constantly blabbering about irrelevant stuff and being too hyperactive to focus. [Pause.] Well, it helps.

[Poland likes you all unfocused and hyperactive just the same Stiles.] So it doesn't have any weird side effects at all?

High blood pressure and loss of appetite, but nothing that turns you into a psychopath. Plus I count my pills - I would have known if someone tried to take any.

So like it wouldn't be bad enough to make his eyes all blood shot then? [Stiles is the go to person for anatomy questions. Granted probably mostly lower anatomy, but still.]

And there's none missing?

Not as red as they are now. And I would have mentioned it if there was. Not just mentioned, I would have dumped the whole thing into the sink and panicked about it to everyone the second I noticed and you'd all have to deal with me reciting everything I've read in the house backwards during the trial.

Do you think there's a plant or herb that's growing around here that could do that?

Marijuana...can create bloodshot eyes...? But I definitely haven't seen any of that around here.

[Stiles why do you even know what marijuana looks like.]

I guess even if it did, it wouldn't help narrow anything down either...

[Poland takes out his notebook and starts flipping through suspect pages.] But if it wasn't your pills maybe there's something else that someone brought that they could drug Beat with.

Could it have been a chemical in the study? We don't know for sure what's there - someone could have taken something and put it into the drink. It might not have killed Beat, but it could have disorientated him.
