I do not understand what a psychopomp is, I'm afraid... But if he was already dead, would that have interfered with the autopsy report in any way?

...I don't think so. Here, he counted as a normal human child with some extra abilities. He bled and died just the same as anyone else.

The wording of the cause of death just strikes me as strange... But I suppose Mr. Clyde's was written in a misleading way as well.

'Apparently died of a fatal wound' isn't exactly clear in any sense. Fatal wounds to his kidneys induced by poisons would still qualify.

I can examine the body further in case anything was missed. Perhaps you can take a look at the blade wounds as well - to see how much force must have been applied to each one.
