Either he knows who did it or... he's just not sure how to react being put on the spot like this. Even more so when he's being implicated and most of the evidence points to him. [ She shrugs. ] He's doing what he knows how to do best.
I still have a feeling there's more to the story that we're missing. For once I agree that accusations are getting us nowhere when that time could be spent looking for evidence.

Whatever made Beat the way he did. He was clearly not himself when he was attacking May, there has to be something that turned him into something like that, right? Or even accounts of seeing one of us four walking from the chapel to the manor.
