[Poland moves on to rifle through all the clothing in Gundam's closet, checking all the pockets and shaking out all the hangers.]

I guess it's possible he did it. [Poland doesn't really like that idea much though, he sort of grew to like Gundam a little.] Even with May confessing, the evidence so far seems to be leaning towards him.

No...! No, he did not, I know he didn't... [ The amount of conviction with which Sonia says this is... a little bizarre. She quickly turns her attentions to looking through the drawers. ]

[The pockets are mostly all full of various fruit, dried fruit, pieces of bread, and stuff like that. The drawers are as neat as always.]

[Poland checks Gundam's shoes, namely for pond mud. Ideally blood.]

I... I am sorry. I can't... [ She covers her mouth with her hand. ] ...Never mind me.

[ She begins sorting through the items on and in the desk. ]

[All his shoes are muddy on the bottom. His chloroform is empty, his letter opener is there, his pocket knife is on the end table.]

[Poland tries the books in case there's anything hiding in them. Like pages cut out to hide a gun or something.]

Either you believe he didn't or you believe he did, there's like really no in between about it. So. If he could never have done it and you really believe that, then that's end of it.

If he can't prove his innocence himself, you have to.
