[The kunai fits easily into the shoulder wound. The slit throat wound is too shallow to fit much of it, but seems like it could have been made with the tip. However, the center of the throat wound is very deep, and the kunai will fit snugly up to the hilt at that point. The chest wound, the kunai fits, but is not long enough to go all the way through. If Beat is turned over, the kunai does not fit into the exit wound, which is very round and does look more likely to be a gunshot wound.]
[A little while after Marlow has examined the body, Susan will return to test her pet theory of Beat having been drugged with a hallucinogen. Given that his tongue and mouth appear normal, it is time once again for the strip solemn search in honor of the dead that the true killer may be found.
If a drug were introduced orally, there would probably be no signs but perhaps a doctored needle or syringe or blade had been used. She'll try to see if there are any more minor injuries that might resemble those marks. She'll also examine his eyes again - they're bloodshot, but what about his pupils? Are they unnaturally dilated?]
[Susan looks unhappy with her results when she's concluded. Reddened... pupils? What could possibly result in that?
...Given that all the knife wounds appear to have been made by Gundam to protect/frame/whatever May, she'll check Beat's head, too, on the off chance someone simply smashed him while he was dazed from fighting May. Denial is a strong motivator.]

[She'll try to fit the kunai into all three wounds to see how it fits. Then she'll try the exit wound on the back.]

Seems like there's something weird going on here.
[She starts to examine Beat's eyes and his mouth, especially his tongue.]

That's not normal.

[Sighing, Susan steps away from the body, reclothes it minimally, pauses, and puts Beat's dumb hat back on. It seemed to be his trademark.]
Something happened to you before May ever stepped into the chapel. It's the only way.
