I do not know. I shall have to think some more... It will not be easy, but I do not want to make a hasty decision that might hurt her.

[ The horse starts nudging at Kaoru with her head. ]

It is wise of you to wait, but I cannot imagine that she can be left up here for long... Perhaps the Hostess can be consulted?

Kaoru gives off the air of someone who has literally never been within touching distance of one before, starting a little when nudged and then glancing between Sonia and Lithium like what do I do...]

[ Sonia laughs. ] Do not be afraid. She is sweet. Have you never been near a horse? That seems strange; horse-riding would suit you.

[souredsweet]

Where I come from, most of the horses are saved for those who do battle... [but Kaoru trusts Sonia enough to believe that this isn't an elaborate set up that will end in a horse biting off a hand or something, so Kaoru hesitantly raises one but pauses just shy of actually touching the horse.]

Is it all right to pet her? [also how does one pet a horse but Kaoru is too embarrassed to ask...]

Of course. [ And detecting that Kaoru does not know wtf to do, Sonia demonstrates, taking Kaoru's hand and putting it against the horse's neck. ] She will not snap or anything like a cat would.

[souredsweet]

[oh thank god for Sonia, that's one embarrassment saved. Kaoru tentatively pets the horse's neck, being as gentle as possible.]

...I did not expect for a horse to be so soft to the touch. [granted Kaoru is used to seeing battle horses, not gorgeous show horses.]

They are the most hella enchanting creatures! Of course, Lithium is special. She cost a lot of money.

Does she have some sort of special properties? [MAGIC HORSE?? why else would a horse possibly cost a ton of money.]

No, she is just exceptionally well bred.

[souredsweet]

I see... So she is a finer horse than most? [it's probably something of a privilege to get to pet her then, Kaoru figures. extra care will be taken!]
