Mmmh!

Here Lithium~ who's like a good girl? [Poland bottles some of his enthusiasm, so he doesn't spook Lithium anymore than she probably already has been spooked. He walks over very slowly before extending his hand for her to sniff.]

I have like a ton of them, I totally love horses and ponies.

Oh! How wonderful! We have plenty on the palace grounds, but this is the one that has belonged to me since my tenth birthday.

[ The horse begins sniffing at Poland, first warily, then seems to relax a little, swaying her head from side to side. ]

I did not really expect to see her here...

[Poland pets Lithium on the neck to start, working his way up. Eventually he gets up to her forehead and rubs it gently.]

You'd think they would have put her in the stables, if they were gonna surprise you with her.

I think they did it on purpose. It is probably making for entertaining television... [ She sighs. ] I do not understand why the whole world does not appreciate dramas and anime the way my country does... [ Sonia nobody wants to be like your country.

Lithium, meanwhile, seems to take an immediate liking to Poland. ]

Aw... poor Lithium. [Rub rub rub. This house is even mean to horses, is nothing sacred.]

I'm sure you can get her outside somehow.

I think I shall ask Mr. Tanaka if he'll help her down the stairs... And once she's settled in the stables, we can take rides on her and such! [ Sonia seems more excited about this than she should be. ] I hardly ever get to ride her at home. Mother doesn't like it.

Wow, who doesn't like riding horses?

[Because Poland totally does, just saying.]

Ah, well, she thinks it is frivolous... She thinks a lot of things are frivolous. But she is not here, so we can ride her whenever we wish!

[ That includes you, Poland. Because Sonia badly wants to be your friend it's very sad ]

Oh my god, that's crazy! It's like. So not frivolous!

You get to be like, outside. And it's great exercise. [Look at how slim Poland is even though he snacks constantly.] And there's horses. I mean. Horses! Wow! [God they're so awesome, your mom is crazy Sonia.]

And when you're riding you're like so free! You just leave everything behind and just fwoosh! It's the best!

She wants me to spend more time studying... [ She smiles apologetically. ] But I agree with you! Riding a horse gives you a real sense of freedom.

[Pssh.]

Well, that's important too, but so are ponies.

There's always time for ponies.

I am a little worried, though... She is here, and if something happens to me...

[Conversations in this house always seem to take a turn for the super bleak relatively quickly, don't they.

Although this might be the first time Poland's seen Sonia react to something like a teenage girl as opposed to as the Dread Queen of the Damned.]

... Well. I mean. Gundam will take care of her I bet. If anything you know...
