[Saturday begins much like Friday, with no further answers provided, and no means of escape. However, at 3 PM on Saturday, the old grandfather clock in the foyer begins to chime. From the foyer, the ballroom doors stand open, and the room is bright with sunshine. Soft, dreamy music plays from a radio inside.

Inside the ballroom, what seems to be a magnificent party is laid out. There is a buffet table laden with finger foods - vegetables and dips, finger sandwiches, pastries, fruit, and cheeses. Next to the table are glasses filled with wine, champagne, or juice. Most of the room is empty, with room to stand and talk, although towards the windows looking out on the courtyard are six tables with five place settings each, set for a larger meal.

And then there's a seventh table, at the back of the room, on which are thirty small notebooks. Inside, the notebooks appear to be some sort of album, with each page containing a picture of and information about your fellow guests.

After everyone has filed in, the doors shut and lock behind the final guest; the doors to the courtyard close as well. You'll have some time to talk amongst yourself, for it will be another hour of dining before anyone else appears]

Of course not! But how can one be expected to accept this!

[He doesn't really understand the comment. Thinking about whether or not things should or shouldn't be a certain way isn't how he processes, so being upset because it isn't fair feels unfamiliar.]

This is our position. Accept our role or strive to change it. To protest accomplishes nothing.

I won't stand for this. I... I'm going to figure out a way to escape, immediately.

[He nods.]

That would be one solution to the predicament. I will remain behind and face the one behind this. But shall you locate the exit, it will be of great benefit to this world.

You intend to fight them?!

[godwhisperer]

Indeed. It is not in my nature to flee from a force who clearly seeks to challenge me. They will pay dearly for their insolence.

But... we know nothing of who the enemy is!

[godwhisperer]

Yes. It will require investigation, should he continue to refuse to show himself.

More than that... I am quite certain that our hostess is a 'she'. [ Ok life or death situation aside the badass mastermind is Clearly A Lady Gundam gosh. ]

Hmm...perhaps. I am not convinced there is no other foe. Her magical abilities are negligible...unless she is shielding them...

You can... detect magical ability? But your info card...

[godwhisperer]

Feh. Malicious deception, designed to turn me into a target by downplaying my true power. I reject the insolence of truth coated in lies. I will be forced to reveal myself in order to make clear the truth, lest I be seen as hiding for my own purposes.

...But everyone else's is true...?

Or so they claim. We shall see, once the competition begins.
