[Saturday begins much like Friday, with no further answers provided, and no means of escape. However, at 3 PM on Saturday, the old grandfather clock in the foyer begins to chime. From the foyer, the ballroom doors stand open, and the room is bright with sunshine. Soft, dreamy music plays from a radio inside.

Inside the ballroom, what seems to be a magnificent party is laid out. There is a buffet table laden with finger foods - vegetables and dips, finger sandwiches, pastries, fruit, and cheeses. Next to the table are glasses filled with wine, champagne, or juice. Most of the room is empty, with room to stand and talk, although towards the windows looking out on the courtyard are six tables with five place settings each, set for a larger meal.

And then there's a seventh table, at the back of the room, on which are thirty small notebooks. Inside, the notebooks appear to be some sort of album, with each page containing a picture of and information about your fellow guests.

After everyone has filed in, the doors shut and lock behind the final guest; the doors to the courtyard close as well. You'll have some time to talk amongst yourself, for it will be another hour of dining before anyone else appears]

As if anyone here would participate in such a horrible game! The only person who will die is you and the other wretched fiends who came up with such a terrible idea!

Chang-san... [Kaoru actually looks a little nauseous after that short talk with the strange woman, though it's clear the unhappy sentiments are shared.]

Don't worry, Miss Kaoru! I will be sure to protect you! [POOR ELEGANT PRINCESS WHO LOOKS LIKE THE PERFECT VICTIM yeah she totally didn't notice the 'male' or 'elevated from human levels' part on that card]

[and May continues to be Kaoru's favorite person. THAT SAID there is some definite alarm in both expression and voice, since "please protect me" wasn't meant to be the conveyed sentiment at all...]

Please don't waste your efforts on me! I know that you are capable for your age, but still, to be faced with a situation this cruel...

There is no need to worry about me, Miss Kaoru. Even though we may be forced to play such a horrible game, as long as we trust one another and look out for each other, I'm sure everything will turn out all right. The worst mistake any of us can make is to let this situation tear us apart and only selfishly care about our own individual survival.

[souredsweet]

[a few seconds of silence pass, and then Kaoru's head lowers a little out of both respect and embarrassment for not being the one to suggest something like that.]

Truly, you are an admirable person... I can only hope that everyone else here will share your sentiments. This situation will become significantly more difficult for us if that isn't the case.

[Gundam has been staying to himself while all this has been happening, not particularly reacting to any of it.]

These insolent ones believe we are so simple as to become tools in a game we have no stakes in.

Exactly! No matter what prize they may claim to have, it is not worth the cost of an innocent life. We will not let them get away with this!
