[Saturday begins much like Friday, with no further answers provided, and no means of escape. However, at 3 PM on Saturday, the old grandfather clock in the foyer begins to chime. From the foyer, the ballroom doors stand open, and the room is bright with sunshine. Soft, dreamy music plays from a radio inside.

Inside the ballroom, what seems to be a magnificent party is laid out. There is a buffet table laden with finger foods - vegetables and dips, finger sandwiches, pastries, fruit, and cheeses. Next to the table are glasses filled with wine, champagne, or juice. Most of the room is empty, with room to stand and talk, although towards the windows looking out on the courtyard are six tables with five place settings each, set for a larger meal.

And then there's a seventh table, at the back of the room, on which are thirty small notebooks. Inside, the notebooks appear to be some sort of album, with each page containing a picture of and information about your fellow guests.

After everyone has filed in, the doors shut and lock behind the final guest; the doors to the courtyard close as well. You'll have some time to talk amongst yourself, for it will be another hour of dining before anyone else appears]

[She gives him a playful wink.]

I'm merely your hostess. I'm here to get to know all of you and be a help.

I don't suppose that means telling us which way the exit is?

[productions]

I will be telling you how you'll be able to get home, though I don't know if you'll like the answer.

[vytis]

[Lithuania hesitates, hearing that.] And, ah, how is that...?

[productions]

All in due time, all in due time. But first, wouldn't you mind telling us a little about yourself? How are you finding your stay so far?

[vytis]

It would be better if it didn't involve kidnapping. [His tone is a bit dry.] I don't know what more you'd want to know about me, given those notebooks.

[productions]

Well, I don't want to know information. I want to know you. The audience will want to see how you feel, what you're like, what kind of thought you're having, do you see?

[vytis]

Er--like television? [Lithuania glances around, as if he's expecting cameras.] Right now I'm wondering if this is a huge prank, honestly.

[productions]

I'm afraid not. Is there anything else you want to tell us?

[vytis]

A-ah... [He looks a little uncomfortable, being put on the spot.] You already seem to know I'm a nation, and that's probably the most interesting thing about me. What is all this for?

[productions]

It's as I said, it's for the audience to get to know you, dear.

[vytis]

[A little dryly:] I'm Lithuania, I'm over 1000 years old, and when I'm not working in my government I enjoy reading. I have a dog, and my favorite color is green.

[productions]
