[after everything that's happened, Kaoru is more determined than ever to see to it that this week become the first to forgo a murder. they're on a good track so far, with everyone still in one piece...

and with that as solace, Kaoru has spent a majority of the past few hours holed up, trying to see if any book may shed light on how to get into the servant's wing. if you're standing near enough, a question may be posed:]

Do you think it possible for us to break into that building on the grounds?

Thursday 7:30AM | Ballroom/bar

[JUST KIDDING NOT THE KITCHEN instead Kaoru is enjoying breakfast in relative peace for the first hour or so of the meal. once the very scant amount of food selected for this morning is gone, a brief break in conversation will be taken so that Kaoru can peruse the bar quickly. the bottles in their rooms are great and all, but a little variety never killed anyone!]

[ She clenches her fist. ]

I am fine. We will do what must be done.

Let us fetch some ice and wrap it.

[Inside, the room is dark. The room is messy, just as it was when her room was last inspected. Although some areas look neat, some areas are messy, with clothes thrown about the room in piles. A muddy shovel is left propped up near the door; the same one she uses when digging. On the desk are a few books and electricity and woodwork, as well as a notebook filled with musings on investigations and missing memories.

The rest of the room is in a terrible state. Her bedside table has been knocked askew with the contents fallen to the ground. A pocket knife is lying on the ground right next to the bed, and a few feathers from a ripped pillow are next to it. Farther away, a flower pot is lying on the ground, its contents - dirt and a sunflower - spilled, and the pot badly cracked.

The bed itself is unmade and tousled, and there is blood on the sheets.]

[The study is clean, and does not appear to be disturbed; the same seems to be true of the bar, which is neat aside from what glasses and bottles are leftover from the night before.]

Okay, how about this - we all tie up someone, and then she ties up the last person remaining? I don't mind letting her tie me up.

...wow, I did not mean for that to come out as kinky as it sounds.

I can think of a lot of things that would keep me safe better than letting a murderer tie me up.

[An echoing voice comes from down the hall; it is likely recognizable as Susan's. There is a spot of color in her cheeks as she appears in the doorway - agitation that isn't normally there.]

...Wait -- What did you just say?

[Alice happens to be going to the kitchen around the same time and is greeted with the sight of Stiles on the floor, in what looks like panic. Oh boy.]

Stiles, what happened?!

Okay seriously! I know you're like a teenager and you have like insane urges and whatever but this is not a road you want to go down!

[Don't do it Stiles!]

[ There's still ice in the ice chest in the ballroom from breakfast, so they head there to fetch some; Sonia gathers some linen napkins.

Upon their return, she begins laying them out carefully. ]

Let's just... place the ice down, then place it on top, then wrap it? Will that work?

[ It's not like she's ever done this before. ]

There's a woman's leg in the library, behind some books.

Wednesday

[10AM ; Conservatory

She's not even smoking today, focused on sprucing some order back into the conservatory that SOME nation ruined some time ago.

Once she's done, on the glass table, she sets down a statue with remarkable detail, except the woman's clothes drape down to shape a small bowl of sort. The inside is filled with water; just... decoration. (Or maybe it has something to do with constellation and planet elements... who knows.)

She did make a certain promise last week, is all.

8PM ; Bar

[Sitting down for a smoke, she's knocking back with a glass of red wine looking rather content.]

That was a pleasantly uneventful day, hm?

[It's true! Not that she was hardly ever fazed by much, but who DOESN'T appreciate calm and quiet after all the chaos of the past few weeks? Maybe they'll REALLY have a peaceful week this time, after all.]

Thursday

[8:30AM ; Conservatory

After getting out of bed and running into Spain, she's headed to check the Conservatory. It's close by after all; she doesn't plan to duck out for long, not after last time. If a quick search yields nothing, she plans to return to the ballroom and probably head for the kitchen.]

Th-the kitchen...oh god....

[Leaning forward and taking deep breaths before unsteadily pushing himself off the ground.] It looks like the fucking Texas Chainsaw Massacre in there is what happened. Fucking hell, I've seen some pretty disturbing corpses before, but never anything like this.

A leg?!

[And now her voice ascends to normally unheard of heights. Susan gapes for a moment before holding up a finger.]

Excuse me.

[She will vanish from the doorway and after a period of about 10 seconds, reappear with her hair tied back in a bun and the expression in her eyes controlled once again.]

...There was a significant quantity of blood in her room. We'll need to search for the other body parts - the murderer might have disposed of some evidence by dismembering the corpse, but no doubt they left tracks everywhere.

Ballroom

[The ruby wing conveniently opens up to the ballroom, so Spain is the one Touko immediately runs into after slapping on her hairband and stepping out of her room.]

Spain. You heard?

[That sure was early, but geez, so much for a quiet Wednesday... Doesn't this guy sleep in all the time, too?]

["Texas Chainsaw Massacre" sounds like an old movie title to her, but it isn't comforting at all. She cautiously steps closer to the kitchen door, reopens it and takes a glance into the room.]

No one is tying me up!

[Lithuania looks to be wound even tighter than usual, though it's with anger instead of nervousness.]

There were a couple of drops of blood in the hidden room in the library. ...Doing something like this to her...

It would be better if we found a container of some sort... Ah, I have an idea, please give me a moment!

[She takes out a piece of chalk and draws a pentagram within a circle on the floor, then grabs a couple of glasses off the tables and puts them within the center of the circle. She then places five kunai at the edges and slams her hands to the ground. The glasses within the circle reform into a large glass jar.]

There! We can pack it with ice and place the hand within it.
