Latvia → Thursday → Drawing Room → 10:30am

[This isn't happening, this isn't happening, this isn't happening...

Those words run through his head like a mantra as he dashes back into the house. Sprinting up the stairs he stumbles on the last few. Latvia picks himself up and staggers into the drawing room looking around frantically. They still hadn't found anything to identify the mess of random body parts, he can still tell himself that wasn't her but really, who was he kidding?

As distraught as he was, he still had to find that important piece...]

[Poland sees that. That small. Thing. He doesn't want to see it but, he sees it.]








... seriously?

[S-slowly going over to investigate.]

[It's a foot!]

[As much as he tries he can't avert his gaze]

Y-yeah, that's right... She wouldn't be killed so easily...

[He starts trying to put the room back into somewhat of an order, picking up the things off the floor and putting the pot upright again]

I... I should probably go and look for her.

[productions]

[There's...something in here. There's an overpowering, awful smell in this room. There's blood dripped all over the carpet, as well as on the stairs leading into it. And when he gets in, he'll see that there's some sort of bloody mess on one of the tables, but it's hard to even see what it is.]

Does it really matter what it's called? You can't even breathe without getting chewed out for not taking a game seriously.

[ Desperation is not her forté unless she's using it to her advantage, which is easier said than done in a murder mansion. She carelessly shrugs. ]

I'm not worried. Riot will handle everything.

[balzams]

[It takes all his self control not to vomit. Clamping his hands over his mouth, Latvia takes a shaking step forward. Keeping conscious through sure determination he cautiously approaches.

What even was that?]

[It's really hard to tell, since it's just a bloody mass. However, if he's able to look closely enough, he'll be able to see it's a pile of intestines.]

[Susan takes a step back from the disgusting smell and tries not to gag. As Latvia approaches the bed, Susan will once again attempt to stop him.]

I can clean up here.

You know her best - go on and think of the places she's most likely to be.

[That said, she holds her breath and reaches down to sift through the sheets to see if there's anything noticeable besides blood. Alcohol and vomit - had Belarus drunk herself into a stupor? If she had, how was it that she had struggled so much?]

[Poland turns away cringing.]

[After a moment Poland pulls off his waistcoat and maneuvers the foot onto it. He's not going to have any clothing left if this keeps up.]

[balzams]

[And this time he really does keel over and vomit. Not even giving the room a second glance he runs to the nearest exit, through the emerald wing and manages to make it to the music room before collapsing onto his hand and knees. Panting heavily he still can't get away from the lingering smell of vomit and viscera.

After a while, when he feels stable enough he looks around to get his bearings. The music room is familiar, but if he wants to go back downstairs that means he'll have to go through the drawing room, right? Unless... there was a secret passageway, wasn't there? Although he never got told where or how. Slowly Latvia gets to his feet and starts to search around]

clyde barrow, thursday, basement, 10:30am

[ As far as Clyde could tell, there was another place that needed to be checked, but considering how you fad to get there... He couldn't exactly blame anyone for not being up to it. It's a while after the torso is found, but eventually, he goes through the kitchen to make his way to the basement, trying to just not look in the direction of the disgusting mess left behind. Which, he realizes belatedly, might not even be for any particular reason if there is something in the basement.

But. Whatever. He does his best to steel himself towards that possibility, descending into the basement to see if anything wonderful awaits him... ]

Or maybe just stay in the ballroom. We can sleep in shifts of three or four people at a time.

[Lithuania will head out to--eugh--look for more pieces, though.]

How tragic. [yeah, she got nothing]

[ En route to the bathroom, Anya notices the open door, pausing in her tracks. ] Hm? That's weird...

[ She leans into the room, and the sight of Rapture face-down and motionless on the bed makes her heart jump into her throat. Immediately she'll start to talk rather loudly. ] Hey. You're okay, aren't you? Totally not dead or anything, right?

[ Rapture just groans and doesn't move a single inch. In fact, she's probably not even a bit awake, but that's the only answer Anya is going to get this early in the morning. Not that it helps much, considering she could be groaning and unmoving if she's been harmed in some way.

How she manages to make it to the trials is a mystery. ]

[Moving on to the foyer and then the Dining Room! One of the lesser visited places, as far as she can tell, but worth a quick sweep before they end up in the kitchen. That would be the whole first floor covered, at least.]

I don't do well with idle hands, I admit, but I could try to work on a few things here. It's closest to my wing, too. Do you do anything here? Bring a book, maybe?

[ She looks over her shoulder; the hamster turns as well. She smiles. ]

It's a song of patriotism from my homeland... There are words that go with it, but I am afraid that my singing is not very good.

It's nothing like I've ever heard before. [ She seats herself in one of the empty chairs. ] Even for a national anthem.

I could always sing it for you! All you have to do is write down the lyrics. We could do a duet and blow the audience away!

Everyone says that... I think Novoselic is a special country indeed... Ah, but why didn't I think of that! We can put on a real marvellous show!

[ For a moment she forgets that a murder is due soon. ] Would you truly want to?

You may not have an actual contract, but you are still an honorary Stinger. To perform together in this mansion... would be destiny!

[ She lifts her arms outward as if waiting for something... but then clears her throat when it doesn't arrive. Instead, Rapture plays it off with a smile. ]

Of course I want to. Not only would it be patriotic to your nation, but it's your chance to prove that you can shine with the rest of us.
