[ Though she hates it, she's left her door open this time. Not being on either the popularity or immunity list leaves her vulnerable enough to be eliminated from the show. She supposes the rules of "I want to 'murder' this person" elimination works wether the door is open or not though.

Regardless, if someone passes her door in the Amethyst wing, they will see her passed out cold, face down into her pillow. Is she dead? Is she sleeping? Is there really a difference when it comes to the lifestyle of a rockstar? ]

[tsarcasm]

[ En route to the bathroom, Anya notices the open door, pausing in her tracks. ] Hm? That's weird...

[ She leans into the room, and the sight of Rapture face-down and motionless on the bed makes her heart jump into her throat. Immediately she'll start to talk rather loudly. ] Hey. You're okay, aren't you? Totally not dead or anything, right?

[throe]

[ Rapture just groans and doesn't move a single inch. In fact, she's probably not even a bit awake, but that's the only answer Anya is going to get this early in the morning. Not that it helps much, considering she could be groaning and unmoving if she's been harmed in some way.

How she manages to make it to the trials is a mystery. ]

[tsarcasm]

Well, okay. I'm going to take that as a sign of being alive unless you've suddenly turned into a zombie or something. Which, knowing this place, is probably not outside the realm of possibility. [ She's saying all this to herself more than anyone, really. Still, the groan is kind of worrisome because even if it means alive it could also mean injured. So Anastasia takes another step into the room and cups her hands around her mouth. ]

Hey! Are you okay?

[ Rapture shoots up into a sitting position looking like the most terrifying creature in the world. Her hair isn't in a ponytail, but loosely flowing everywhere and slightly mussed from sleep. The bags under her eyes aren't as terrible as they could be, but she is still make-up less and... just looks angry overall.

Her silk yellow robe looks quite nice though. ]

No. I'm wide awake.

[tsarcasm]

[ Oh gosh Rapture does not look happy. Anya can't help but take a few steps back, but her tone is anything but intimidated. ]

Right, I see that now! Sorry for being concerned about your well-being, but you can't really blame me for being a little worried when people are playing hide-and-seek with a bunch of body parts downstairs!

[throe]

[ She groans again, flopping back onto her pillow. ]

Why are they always so early? [ She sighs, clearly frustrated with culprits not understanding the sleep schedule of a rock star. Turning on her side and facing her back toward Anya, she pulls her covers closer to her. ] Who was it this time?

[tsarcasm]

Belarus.

[ She says the name quietly, but the solemn moment is short before she shifts back into her previous tone, watching Rapture lay back down and turn away. ]

How... How can you be so nonchalant? Someone died!

[throe]

Someone usually dies, that's the entire point of this game.

Belarus being eliminated doesn't really surprise me either, especially after last week.

[souredsweet]

[whoops that looks a little alarming... Kaoru pauses on the search to knock rapidly on the outside of Rapture's door.]

Excuse me, Miss Rapture—?

[throe]

[ She mumbles something, throwing her pillow over her head to ignore the sound. Her voice sounds muffled underneath it all. ]

It's too early. Come back later!

[souredsweet]

[oh well THAT'S GOOD, that's one less person to worry about. still:]

There has been a murder, Miss Rapture. The, ah... there are... pieces of the body—

[throe]

Pieces? [ She removes the pillow now and lets it settle against her side, but she's not looking at Kaoru. Instead, her head is turned away from the conversation, though still resting on her bed. ]

You mean like... dismemberment? Who got dismembered?

[souredsweet]

[Kaoru doesn't seem to mind; it's difficult to maintain eye contact anyway, with how upsetting the morning had been so far.]

It was... Miss Belarus. Mr. Stilinski found her head in the kitchen... People are leaving the parts that they find in the foyer, so... that is where they are meant to go, if you find any as well. [what a grim thing. last week's murder seems like a cakewalk in comparison.]

[throe]

It was Belarus...?

[ She finally lifts her head up to peer at Kaoru for a moment. After a brief pause, she lays it back down. ]

Can't say I'm surprised that the culprit would choose dismemberment for her.

[souredsweet]

[looking more than a little perturbed by that answer, Kaoru leans away from the door a little.]

Why do you say that...?

[throe]

Her info card. [ She's too tired to fully explain it, so she pauses briefly to settle comfortably in her bed. ] It said she was an expert with knives. She carried a knife with her.

Rin was killed in the music room. Dave was killed by a katana. [ She lifts her arm, does a little motion with her hand, and lets it fall to dangle off the side of the bed. ] It's a theme.

[souredsweet]

Ah... I had not noticed... [Kaoru pauses, twisting a bit of fabric in a somewhat nervous way before bowing.]

...It would be best to remain on your guard, Miss Rapture, but I will leave you to your morning routine now.

[ She makes a sound that's between a grunt and a hum as a means to acknowledge Kaoru's statement. Rapture tries her best to fall back asleep, but with all the commotion happening... she doubts that's going to happen. ]
