[It just seems to be the flowers, but it's a lot of them.]

Maybe the murderer was an eco-terrorist!

[...Hah. She leaves the conservatory and heads toward the kitchen. If she can't find a clue, she can always find a snack.]

[She can find a snack in the kitchen; it was just recently used for cooking. Although the mess has been cleaned up, the smell still lingers.]

[Good. Can't fight crime and murder on an empty stomach. Though the lingering smell is curious. She pauses for a few moments to take in the air and smell it slowly, trying to see if she can decipher what it is.]

[It smells like traditional Japanese cooking - noodles, fried tofu, and the like.]

...Ah, the smell of youth and all its MSG.

[At least this confirms someone was in the kitchen while things were going down. She doesn't think anything important would be hidden here two days in a row, but she'll check around the cupboards, the icebox and under the counter just in case.]

[Then it's off to the bar! (But not before she spends a few minutes contemplating taking an apple or orange, only to grab a banana.) She could use a drink, but that can wait until the end of the trial. She isn't sure if anyone would hide something here, but she may as well check out the rest of the first floor just as a precautionary measure.]
