god what else... checking the sheet music as well... which door would be easier to see from sitting at the grand piano?]

[The piano looks out onto the door to the hallway leading to the staircase; that door is open.]

[so either up the stairs or into Emerald then... she'd been on her way up to the Library after all...

Going to check the door; why leave it open anyway?]

[It's unclear why, but there is nothing unusual about it. Rin is near that door; she's positioned facing away from it, midway between the piano and the door.]

[hrm... close enough together for Rin to have potentially opened the door? But if she was stabbed through the front that's probably a no...

If she was running for that door, that must mean... glancing back at the other door into Sapphire]

[...well, anything in the corridor? Maybe it's too much to hope they left evidence before starting off the crime...

at least they can't have escaped this way... hopefully...]

[....in hindsight, this was slightly stupid wasn't it. What was she hoping to do open up all the rooms and magically find a room full of murder weapons or something. It's not like she has a skeleton key or magic fancy unlock powers... sod it, circuiting round through Billiards and the Drawing Room to walk through the corridor in Emerald for any obvious 'hello I am a murder investigation clue' type things...]

[Nothing obvious stands out. The Billiards room looks organized and in good condition. Emerald is quiet as always, with it being one of the more deserted wings. The drawing room is impeccably neat.]

[...which leaves her right back to where she started. Now actually looking properly, there wouldn't happen to be any super convenient marks or clues around the stairwell leading in would there?]
