It doesn't seem like anyone here really understands the situation...

I've been talking to people ever since I woke up and I haven't met a single one who knows why we're here or how we got here.

I would have thought that the property owner would have made themselves known at least. If not in person then some kind of note or something.

It would have been nice if that happened to be the case. Unfortunately, if that person has made themselves known, I haven't seen them yet...

No! There must be! How else would we all arrive here? Especially since it seems that the circumstances are similar.

I spoke to one woman outside who believed that the person responsible will remain hidden for now. That person is likely the owner of this house as well, I'd imagine... [and then Kaoru's expression falls a little, because all things considered, that isn't a helpful hunch at all.]

I just have a bad feeling about all of this. There are really high fences around the property, did you see?

I saw it, yes. I've been meaning to check the perimeter and search for a gate of some sort, but I decided that it may be best to check this house first. ...It's clear that whoever brought us here expects us to stay a while.

I know it sounds alarming but I think we might actually be prisoners here.

[guess who comes from a time when electric power is not yet a thing...! not enough of a thing for Kaoru to be familiar with the idea of a fence being electrified, anyway.]

I-I know! It seems really extreme...

I'm not sure what's to gain from trapping us all in here but...

There's no gate, you can't climb it. There must be a way out somehow though, how else would everyone get here?

[Maybe some kind of tunnel? It seems more likely than getting lowered by a helicopter]
