The room you're in is luxurious and comfortable, but there is a musty feeling of disuse and decay in the air. Still, you've provided with new wardrobe perfectly tailored for you, a key ring that will unlock your bedroom door, so surely you're welcome to explore the manor?

[Bernkastel's gaze shifts to the door properly, her gaze distant, tip of her tail twitching lazily, before she looks at the woman again.]

This door may be intentionally sealed off to us, or perhaps it's too heavy to force open. It's a bit annoying, I'll admit.

[Not that she looks annoyed, or has any expression at all.]

Yeah, it's definitely keeping something from us, but it's strange how this is the first locked door I've found. What could be so valuable in here, but the rooms filled with priceless valuables that can easily be stolen are open to all?

Perhaps that's where our elusive host has hidden away. [She may or may not be being serious about that suggestion, it's difficult to tell.]

Hm maybe. If I'm being honest though, I think the person responsible for all of this is likely hiding among the kidnapped. It would make for a better disguise to pretend to be a victim of kidnap like everyone else.

Is that what you think? It's certainly possible, given the number of people here. Not a conclusion many people come to, however.
