Nope. ( G r i n n i n g ) I've inspired a lot of famous artists and writers, you know!

El Greco and Goya and de Cervantes...

( Prattling off names and counting them off on his fingers. )

[ woah... he only sort of maybe kind of recognizes one of those names, so he scratches his head. ]

Uh... yeah. I think the point is, if I write a novel, I should dedicate it to you, right?

That's what I've been say-- ( Oh. Oh, he gets it. ) Let me tell you a story instead!

Have you heard the story of Pinocchio?

Yeah? What's that got to do with anything?

Well, the story is about a puppet that comes to life, right?

It was made by a man who gave him the name, Pinocchio! By a miracle, Pinocchio comes to life and learns what it's like to be a human. Eventually, Pinocchio becomes a real boy!

Where I'm from, there were once people. The people came together and made a kingdom called Spain. The next thing I knew, I was alive!
