We're all unlucky to be here, honestly, and we're all at risk by the same stroke. Haven't you heard of the saying "no risk, no gain"? Although in this case, I'm just not keen on letting some bit of paranoia ruin my freedom. [She shrugs.] Have you tried asking other people the same thing? Maybe they'll answer you differently, but they must think the same too, whatever their reason.

[balzams]

[With the mix off all the other feelings whirling around inside him, her attitude was really starting to grate on his nerves]

Living in constant fear and doubt is just unappealing to some, and those people are willing to risk death to go against it. But that's their business, right? Nothing to do with you.

As a nation, right? I've heard some other ones bring that up to the Hostess, yesterday. Do you really think they have the power, to wipe away an entire population through one individual?

[Her tone and expression are more sober too, discussing the lives of millions now.]

I'm not actually sure... but I don't want to risk it.

It might not be as drastic as the entire population getting wiped out but I don't think anything good will come of it.

[She gives a small sigh.]

Nothing good can come out of people dying, generally, especially not when a random group has been kidnapped to participate in a murder show. With that sort of responsibility, it's easier to understand why you'd be more reserved. Aren't there others here like you, though? Spain, Belarus, Lithuania, and Ukraine, if memory serves.

[balzams]

Mm, I've only met Mr. Spain and Miss Ukraine I think. Although... Lithuania was the one with the dark hair, wasn't he?

He's a brunette, his hair's neck-long or so. You're all countries from Earth; as Latvia, you share borders with Lithuania and Belarus. Are you all from the same place?

[she answers lightly, knowing her European geography pretty well considering all the traveling she's done in her younger years.]
