Nah - I ain't gonna fall!

[Beat is a Reaper - not quite dead, not quite alive. If her ghost-seeing ability applies here, she might notice him flex a pair of strange black wings upwards on his back. Though he'll watch her curiously.]

You want some help over there? [with what, he's not sure. She must have come up here for a reason.]

Whoa.

(Her eyes widen when he flexes the wings. That's right - she had seen something about this on his card.)

Um. I think I'm okay. I just wanted to see what was up here.

[respecting]

Huh? [he looks around tiny bit at that exclamation. Sure, he did flex the wings, but he didn't expect her to be able to see them. He didn't read the info cards more than once, and hers wasn't one of the ones that stood out a lot. It takes him a moment to register that she was reacting to him. He doesn't want to explain the wings though. It paints an image of him that he'd rather not.]

Oh, aight. Yeah, it's not much - kind of a crappy roof, yo.

(Well, he doesn't seem to want to talk about it, so she won't ask. As long as she can keep curiosity from getting the best of her, that is. At least he'll probably help her if she falls to a gory death. Probably.)

I know it's kind of stupid, but I was sort of hoping for a secret passage or something.

Still, it's a good place to get a view of the whole set up. It might not be a bad idea to come keep a look out here sometimes.

Tha's not stupid, I been lookin' for a way out too!

I don't mind keepin' an eye out. So far most people are just hiding inside though.

(She's a little relieved he doesn't think it's stupid. Her investigations have not been the most successful so far.)

Yeah...I'm hoping it'll stay that way, but I don't think everyone is. The woman I met on the way up here seemed pretty sure I was going to get pushed off the roof, so...sure hope that's not your plan.

No way! ... I ain't up here for some sinister purpose. I been testin' the electrical field. It's way bigger than it looks, you know.
