Blues are alright, I guess. I'm a guitar player myself and Minx could probably handle piano, but I think she would rather build and work with her own synthesizer instead.

I prefer to go with the more modern stuff. Nothing like Jem and the Holograms or The Misfits try to pass as music. The Stingers, on the other hand, are... [ She sighs, thinking of their own work and how far they've come. ] Perfect. Especially Riot... No one could ever be better than us.

[coca_cola]

[ What she's saying clicks with the last bit, so he nods. ]

Well, considerin' half of what you're sayin' is flyin' over my head, it sounds safe to say that I have no idea what "modern" entails. But if I'm catchin' it right, you're sayin' you're in a band, right? You sing?

The only band that matters. I do backup vocals most of the time, but sometimes I'll sing lead. Riot's usually our main singer since the crowd goes absolutely wild for him whenever he does.

[ She smirks, raising an eyebrow. ]

Not that I blame them.

[coca_cola]

[ He nods, understanding! Or so he assumes... ]

So I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say that he's your man?

[ Even though she's used to reading it in the tabloids, hearing it assumed through whispers never actually brought to her face, Rapture still gives Clyde a look of... near disgust at the mere suggestion of the two of them together like that. ]

We belong together, but we're nothing like that. [ She moves from leaning on the piano to seat herself in one of the chairs. She looks relaxed, as if she owns the entire place, though mentioning the lead singer is nothing without a longing sigh. ] It's not even platonic or familial, it... just is. He's like a muse to me! I feed off his energy and charisma then turn that into music.

Minx is my best friend. The three of us all belong together... we're just a perfect match.

[ She pauses, waiting for the perfect opportunity for their theme to begin... but, it doesn't and she nearly throws her head back with a groan. ]

[coca_cola]

[ He holds his hands up as if in surrender at the look and with a look that's apologetic. ]

Whoops, sorry for assumin'. Just ain't often I hear that kind of admiration without it bein' love.

[ But, he'll just move on! ] Somethin' the matter, though? Or did I just overstep terribly?

[ She lounges a little more boorishly in the chair, letting her arms drape over the sides and her legs stretched out before her. She blows air at one of her bangs covering her face. ]

No, it's not you. This place is great, but the only thing missing from it is The Stingers! When I say something, it's supposed to lead into a song, but... it doesn't do that here. It's weird.

[ That is exceedingly strange, and Clyde wonders if she's out of it, but... Considering what he'd seen in that info book, maybe it's not so surprising. He just nods understandingly so. ]

That so? That's a shame, ma'am, since I'd like to hear it.

[throe]

At least it doesn't mean dealing with the Holograms or Misfits either and having to hear their songs, but... [ She throws out a few of her vocals from the song, mostly the background touches. Regardless, there doesn't seem to be any true heart behind them, despite the strength of her voice. Clyde's indulgence of letting her talk about her band keeps her from stopping completely. ]

See what I mean? Even if I had my guitar, it just doesn't sound right without the three of us together.
