murder manor - reunion part II

murder manor reunion

[You are in a darkened theater.

In front of you is an enormous cinema screen. On it plays video of the manor, accompanied by appropriate sound effects and background instrumentals when fitting. The seat you're sitting on is large and plush, and while there's many of them, there's enough room in the theatre for you to fully recline the seat into a comfortable bed if you wish.

Follow the stairs up and you'll reach what should be the projection room. There are no projectors in here, however; it is simply a large and well-lit room above the main seating area, and a good place to hang out with your fellow eliminated contestants if shouting at each other across the aisles proves too much to handle.

If you leave the theatre through the door in the back, you'll find yourself in a hall. On one end is a concession stand. It's stocked with standard movie snacks - popcorn, candy and the like - but if you're feeling the urge for something else, you'll be able to find it stocked somewhere in the back. On the other end is a table with thirty wrapped bags and a placard reading 'A star for our stars! Please accept these lovely giftbags as a token of appreciation for your hard work, sponsored by [illegible smudge]'. Each bag has a tag bearing the name of someone in the mansion; you will only be able to open the bag with your name on it. As soon as you open it, any memories that have been taken from you, including those of the other people in the mansion that you may have forgotten, will be returned in their entirety. Within the bag are also objects from your home that you may want for your stay here, though you will find no weapons.

There are no other doors in the hall save for the one leading back into the theatre room. There are also no windows; it is impossible to tell where you are and what is going on in the outside world. Any attempts to break out will fail. So in the meantime, why not sit back and enjoy the show?]

Murder Manor reunion week continues! This week is taking place outside the game (and will not be remembered by the living characters). Once the week is over, the living characters will be right back where they left off, Sunday night in the manor.

During the times when Doris is taking questions, characters will not be able to talk about things that are 'off topic.' They can talk and reunite with one another, but need to focus on things relevant to that week or topic of discussion. Any time they get off topic, they will find themselves stuck trying to make the words come out of their mouth and will simply trail off. There will be breaks where characters can talk without this restriction, but the same will happen to anyone who, at any time, starts trying to talk about anything to do with there being a Mastermind or player to benefit from the game or planted player who isn't Lithuania. Codes and other attempts to get around this rule will still result in trailing off.

All the living characters have now arrived, and all characters may participate, although Yuzu is not here and characters may notice Belarus, Clyde, and Michael Altman seem to be empty shells.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya glowing and not sure what else to do with herself; with a flat expression, she has just arrived on the scene. (Arrival)

You say things you've "never" done to test whether the others "have ever" done said thing. [Trufax.]
souredsweet: mewtube (such a fickle thing)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-01 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. ...It seems a little pointless, but I guess I'll play the next round, if there is one.

[because he's on a roll with games, apparently.]
speakveryclearly: Kanaya wearing Zahhak glasses and giant waist bow, posing for the camera with hands on her hips and a smirk on her face. (Model)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-01 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
Humans have a strange bent on dividing the questions by gender. I'm not sure if you'd be sensitive to that or relish the opportunity for mockery.
souredsweet: mewtube (no offense!)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-01 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to mock, if it were so generously shown.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya chalk white, jade flushed, punch drunk, with Lalonde arm around her shoulder. (Hazy)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-01 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
Do you think they're going to divide attractiveness awards by sex, too? [Laughing.] You'll split the vote and fail to rank.
souredsweet: mewtube (distinguished)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-01 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
Hah, who knows? I'm not particularly interested in something like that and I doubt anyone would select anything beyond 'a lovely woman' for what I presented, anyway.

[and then a split vote is exactly what happened...]
speakveryclearly: Kanaya rendered in shades of blue, with a friendly smile on her face. (Princess)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-01 06:37 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, but what if there's a prize!
souredsweet: mewtube (god why this though)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-01 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
I've had more than enough of the prizes that this place offers. Especially a prize for something so insultingly arbitrary.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya wearing Zahhak glasses and giant waist bow, posing for the camera with hands on her hips and a smirk on her face. (Model)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-01 01:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Good point - we'll likely be held to human standards of beauty.
souredsweet: mewtube (let's move on)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-01 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
That, too. [his nose wrinkles in an expression of disdain.] At least I have the ability to look completely human.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya with her hand on her hip and a stark, cocentric, unforgiving aura. (Cold)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-01 09:43 pm (UTC)(link)
How space racist of the producers.
souredsweet: jackandtink (left behind)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-01 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Not surprising, though. The audience likely prefers humanoid things as well.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya looking up, flickering gently, thoughtful. (Learning)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-01 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I still can't believe what kind of audience would eat up this content... beyond the stipulation it's staged.
souredsweet: mewtube (eugh plebeians)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-01 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Who knows? At this rate, I would be happy never knowing.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya disdainfully looking over at the person on her right. (Exasperated)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-01 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure I can bear that - the truth is probably awful, but aren't you infuriated that all this atrocity transpired for no reason?
souredsweet: mewtube (cranky brats)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-01 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course I am. [without makeup or long hair to soften his features, his angry expressions likely look much sharper. they do a better job of conveying his true sentiment, though...]

But I'm not surprised. The audience is likely human, and humans have been doing awful things since they arrived.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya holding her sharply shining face in both her hands with a voyeur's merciless grin, saying "Oh... Oh, My". (Concupiscent)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
Ahahahahahahaha. What do they call it? Human nature.
souredsweet: mewtube (unjust)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
Mm. [a nod! he finally picks up a shot - the pink one.] And what a disgusting thing it is.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya disdainfully looking over at the person on her right. (Exasperated)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
I don't really understand their enjoyment of this alcohol substance. It's supposed to be a relaxant...?
souredsweet: jackandtink (you can have it)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't know. [he isn't affected by alcohol like humans...!] They likely just enjoy being inebriated because it allows them to escape themselves.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya at her computer, looking down in disappointment and worry; interestingly, jade lipstick and eye makeup. (Abandoned)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
Unless it's possible to take a lethal dose, that's only temporary entertainment. [An idea which troubles her]
souredsweet: mewtube (such a fickle thing)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
I think that is possible, actually.
speakveryclearly: Someone holds Kanaya's chin in their hand; she looks over at them, eyes lidded, blushing slightly, brows raised. (Uncomfortable)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
........do you think it would happen in the amounts being used here.
souredsweet: mewtube (quietly)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
[kanaya...]

It would depend, I think. Some people are more resistant to alcohol than others, but if you drank enough, you could probably die of poisoning before you vomited. [kaoru...]
speakveryclearly: Kanaya cringes as she looks at something skeptically. Jade lipstick. (Doubt)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 05:59 am (UTC)(link)
That's.........

Not going to be very good for ratings. [KANAYA]
