murder manor - reunion part II

murder manor reunion

[You are in a darkened theater.

In front of you is an enormous cinema screen. On it plays video of the manor, accompanied by appropriate sound effects and background instrumentals when fitting. The seat you're sitting on is large and plush, and while there's many of them, there's enough room in the theatre for you to fully recline the seat into a comfortable bed if you wish.

Follow the stairs up and you'll reach what should be the projection room. There are no projectors in here, however; it is simply a large and well-lit room above the main seating area, and a good place to hang out with your fellow eliminated contestants if shouting at each other across the aisles proves too much to handle.

If you leave the theatre through the door in the back, you'll find yourself in a hall. On one end is a concession stand. It's stocked with standard movie snacks - popcorn, candy and the like - but if you're feeling the urge for something else, you'll be able to find it stocked somewhere in the back. On the other end is a table with thirty wrapped bags and a placard reading 'A star for our stars! Please accept these lovely giftbags as a token of appreciation for your hard work, sponsored by [illegible smudge]'. Each bag has a tag bearing the name of someone in the mansion; you will only be able to open the bag with your name on it. As soon as you open it, any memories that have been taken from you, including those of the other people in the mansion that you may have forgotten, will be returned in their entirety. Within the bag are also objects from your home that you may want for your stay here, though you will find no weapons.

There are no other doors in the hall save for the one leading back into the theatre room. There are also no windows; it is impossible to tell where you are and what is going on in the outside world. Any attempts to break out will fail. So in the meantime, why not sit back and enjoy the show?]

Murder Manor reunion week continues! This week is taking place outside the game (and will not be remembered by the living characters). Once the week is over, the living characters will be right back where they left off, Sunday night in the manor.

During the times when Doris is taking questions, characters will not be able to talk about things that are 'off topic.' They can talk and reunite with one another, but need to focus on things relevant to that week or topic of discussion. Any time they get off topic, they will find themselves stuck trying to make the words come out of their mouth and will simply trail off. There will be breaks where characters can talk without this restriction, but the same will happen to anyone who, at any time, starts trying to talk about anything to do with there being a Mastermind or player to benefit from the game or planted player who isn't Lithuania. Codes and other attempts to get around this rule will still result in trailing off.

All the living characters have now arrived, and all characters may participate, although Yuzu is not here and characters may notice Belarus, Clyde, and Michael Altman seem to be empty shells.
speakveryclearly: Someone holds Kanaya's chin in their hand; she looks over at them, eyes lidded, blushing slightly, brows raised. (Uncomfortable)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
........do you think it would happen in the amounts being used here.
souredsweet: mewtube (quietly)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
[kanaya...]

It would depend, I think. Some people are more resistant to alcohol than others, but if you drank enough, you could probably die of poisoning before you vomited. [kaoru...]
speakveryclearly: Kanaya cringes as she looks at something skeptically. Jade lipstick. (Doubt)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 05:59 am (UTC)(link)
That's.........

Not going to be very good for ratings. [KANAYA]
souredsweet: breadcrusts (for you)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
What if someone saved them right before death? Humans like that sort of thing, right?
speakveryclearly: Kanaya ivory and angry, shouting at her conversational partner, leaning in too. (Antagonism)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 06:06 am (UTC)(link)
How, by forcing them to vomit? Humans do not find bodily fluids particularly pleasing in mass amounts!
souredsweet: jackandtink (SO SMUG)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
My trial involved vomiting and still managed to hold the top spot. [kaoru that isn't something to be proud of on either count]

I think they would sit through just about anything if it contains the right amount of drama.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya very serious over a needle and thread in her hand and mouth. (Determined)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
[She is silent for a moment actually very seriously considering this]

What is "the right amount" of drama, though. That is the question.

[No amount apparently DRAMATIC IRONY]
souredsweet: mewtube (quietly)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 06:32 am (UTC)(link)
[god why someone come stop both of them]

The right amount is as much as physically possible. That's what I would think after living here for so long, anyway.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya in ivory, pointing out a problem with a raised arm and trying not to be petulant. (Dissatisfaction)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
....We cannot drug everybody here. That's collective suicide.
souredsweet: mewtube (rude internal monologue)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 06:44 am (UTC)(link)
Only if they actually die.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya with a scattered glow, looking down at something that has unexpectedly disappeared. (Hopeless)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 06:45 am (UTC)(link)
Have you ever actually successfully rescued someone from alcohol poisoning.
souredsweet: jackandtink (keep your eyes high)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
I haven't ever rescued anyone from any sort of poisoning. [he is usually the one doing the poisoning so there hasn't ever been the need for rescue...]

We should test it out on one person first.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya in ivory, pointing out a problem with a raised arm and trying not to be petulant. (Dissatisfaction)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 06:51 am (UTC)(link)
Wait............ that has its risks...

[As in you know someone would die]
souredsweet: jackandtink (left behind)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 06:57 am (UTC)(link)
So we will pick someone that we don't like.

[he doesn't see the problem with this clearly flawless plan]
speakveryclearly: Kanaya looking up, flickering gently, thoughtful. (Learning)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 07:01 am (UTC)(link)
[Lowering her voice very slightly]

There will be a lot of drama if Poland is poisoned and I am not sure it will be the good kind.
souredsweet: mewtube (god why this though)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
[KANAYA...!!]

I was thinking more along the lines of Beat. Poland isn't so bad.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya rendered with ugly realism, staring at the viewer like rotten meat. (Undead)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-12-02 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
[--Kaoru...]

Beat is not winning any spelling bees, but what has he ever done. As I recall his motivation was a specific person. Ahh, of whom does that remind me.
souredsweet: mewtube (let's move on)

[personal profile] souredsweet 2013-12-02 07:13 am (UTC)(link)
He's unreasonable and irritating to deal with. Besides, I've already killed him once; once more shouldn't make any difference. Our motivations aren't the same beyond that sole point, anyway. [since Beat actually wants to help his sister rather than laugh maniacally in the background while she cries in misery and all...]

Anyway, what has Poland done? Anything not related to invoking a return grudge from you?
