murder manor - reunion

murder manor reunion

[You are in a darkened theater.

In front of you is an enormous cinema screen. On it plays video of the manor, accompanied by appropriate sound effects and background instrumentals when fitting. The seat you're sitting on is large and plush, and while there's many of them, there's enough room in the theatre for you to fully recline the seat into a comfortable bed if you wish.

Follow the stairs up and you'll reach what should be the projection room. There are no projectors in here, however; it is simply a large and well-lit room above the main seating area, and a good place to hang out with your fellow eliminated contestants if shouting at each other across the aisles proves too much to handle.

If you leave the theatre through the door in the back, you'll find yourself in a hall. On one end is a concession stand. It's stocked with standard movie snacks - popcorn, candy and the like - but if you're feeling the urge for something else, you'll be able to find it stocked somewhere in the back. On the other end is a table with thirty wrapped bags and a placard reading 'A star for our stars! Please accept these lovely giftbags as a token of appreciation for your hard work, sponsored by [illegible smudge]'. Each bag has a tag bearing the name of someone in the mansion; you will only be able to open the bag with your name on it. As soon as you open it, any memories that have been taken from you, including those of the other people in the mansion that you may have forgotten, will be returned in their entirety. Within the bag are also objects from your home that you may want for your stay here, though you will find no weapons.

There are no other doors in the hall save for the one leading back into the theatre room. There are also no windows; it is impossible to tell where you are and what is going on in the outside world. Any attempts to break out will fail. So in the meantime, why not sit back and enjoy the show?]

Murder Manor reunion week has begun! The next week will take place outside the game (and will not be remembered by the living characters). Once the week is over, the living characters will be right back where they left off, Sunday night in the manor.

All the dead characters and eventually all living characters will participate in this week, through Belarus and Yuzu will just be empty shells who cannot interact with the others. Dead characters (except Lithuania, who never arrived) will all be in the theater from the beginning, whereas living characters will only be brought in once specifically introduced, and will be given their memories at that time.

During the times when Doris is taking questions, characters will not be able to talk about things that are 'off topic.' They can talk and reunite with one another, but need to focus on things relevant to that week or topic of discussion. Any time they get off topic, they will find themselves stuck trying to make the words come out of their mouth and will simply trail off. There will be breaks where characters can talk without this restriction, but the same will happen to anyone who, at any time, starts trying to talk about anything to do with there being a Mastermind or player to benefit from the game or planted player who isn't Lithuania. Codes and other attempts to get around this rule will still result in trailing off.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya cringes as she looks at something skeptically. Jade lipstick. (Doubt)

Are you talking about paillnesses???
humanic: (unsure)

[personal profile] humanic 2013-11-28 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey, my skin's just fine, thank you! You're the palest one here, miss vampire.
speakveryclearly: With heavy green flush on her face, Kanaya looks up and away. (Unfortunate)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-11-28 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Not that sense of pale, you and Annie are the ones in a moirallegiance. A-I-L.
humanic: (unsure)

[personal profile] humanic 2013-11-28 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
A muy what now? And I don't know where a p-a-i-l comes into it, not unless you guys are even kinkier than I thought.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya turned into a beacon of panic, arms raised in alarm. (Anguish)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-11-28 09:51 pm (UTC)(link)
YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE IT COMES IN???

At the conclusion, where else?
humanic: (surprised)

[personal profile] humanic 2013-11-28 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, just to clear up any hilarious misunderstandings.

Are we talking about sex here? Are we both on the same page?
speakveryclearly: With heavy green flush on her face, Kanaya looks up and away. (Unfortunate)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-11-28 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes???

Troll develops interest in troll, trolls engage in various pleasurable intimate activities, trolls fill filial pail with genetic material... shouldn't this be ringing a bell? I was responsible for the restoration of my race, I do have some knowledge of how procreation works.

[Leave Me To Die]
speakveryclearly: Kanaya trying to hide her computer screen and looking to make sure nobody saw that. Jade lipstick and eye makeup. (Hesitance)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-11-29 06:06 am (UTC)(link)
[She looks at Annie as if she has just finally finished the slow, inexorable process through which she has realized that this entire time the girl has been in possession of not one but two heads.]

[personal profile] hollowheart 2013-11-29 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
Do you want to procreate with me? [Annie's normally sharp brain is breaking into teeny tiny fractals as she speaks.]
speakveryclearly: Kanaya reduced to a monochrome mess of dots. Caption: "BLUH." (Flushed)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-11-29 08:10 am (UTC)(link)
Uhhhhhhhhmmm...

[IT'S BEEN LIKE TWENTY-FOUR HOURS

THEY CAN INTERMINGLE AS A PILE OF PIECES]

I had not exactly ruled out the possibility categorically? I had anticipated this discussion happening at a time that was not now, hadn't you?
hollowheart: by seraphita @ DW (pic#6804159)

1/2

[personal profile] hollowheart 2013-11-29 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
[Of all the things she had to go through in her short life, of all the tantrums she's had to endure by teammates, of all the idiocies and of all the hardships, nothing really has prepared her for this. Annie just stares idly at the blank screen.]
hollowheart: by seraphita @ DW (pic#6804163)

[personal profile] hollowheart 2013-11-29 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure, why not? [she's reaching for her drink now to take a hearty gulp] This is exactly what the world needs, half-giant aliens.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya with pupils reduced to dots at complete loss for words; interestingly, jade lipstick and eye makeup. (No Words)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-11-29 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[Her body is slowly consuming itself from the inside out. She has to force an extremely casual shrug.]

That sounds sort of nice, actually. [Even though this is true, she is really desperately drawing words out of some deep, largely depleted socially appropriate responses well.]
hollowheart: (pic#6999648)

[personal profile] hollowheart 2013-11-29 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
I hope they inherit your speed, then I wouldn't have to worry about them being slaughtered by humans. [see this is the girl you've given your heart to, calmly and systematically planning the future annihilation of what's left of the human race over a martini.]
speakveryclearly: Kanaya in ivory, pointing out a problem with a raised arm and trying not to be petulant. (Dissatisfaction)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-11-30 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
[She doesn't always support genocide but when she does it's an eye for an eye]

Would their horns grow to the size of trees in giant form? I assume your bones somehow do so...
hollowheart: (pic#7061982)

[personal profile] hollowheart 2013-11-30 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
[No longer perplexed by the possibility, she starts to find this less threatening.] Probably not the size of trees! I'm only seventeen meters at my highest.

Well. Perhaps small trees.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya looking up, flickering gently, thoughtful. (Learning)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-11-30 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
Meters are [she tries to open her arms that wide] these, right?
hollowheart: by seraphita @ DW (pic#6804160)

[personal profile] hollowheart 2013-11-30 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
Just about. [She clings to the armrest for a moment, having lost the upper part of her "chair", before situating Kanaya's arms around her again, properly.] Taller than a house, at least.
speakveryclearly: Kanaya with faintly upquirked lips and eyebrows at a whimsical Terezi. (Uncertainty)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-11-30 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
[Ah yes must not abandon the divine labor of chair hood]

With a certain number of stories. [KANAYA'S HOUSE...]

Wow, I started this whole conversation as a joke, but now I'm thinking it was actually a really good idea. You can thank me later, Annie.

So just making sure again that we have no misunderstandings here - when you say 'filial pail', is that an euphemism for something or are you actually referring to a bucket-like container for holding liquids and things?
speakveryclearly: Kanaya sparkles slightly as something has grabbed her from behind, making her eyes go extremely wide. (Not Composed)

[personal profile] speakveryclearly 2013-11-29 08:14 am (UTC)(link)
The... latter thing that you said. Generally accepted as sufficient synecdoche for - the sex act. [Devolving into a squeak.] In my culture.
humanic: (surprised)

[personal profile] humanic 2013-11-29 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I -- but pails -- how--

[There's a long silence as his sense of modesty wrestles with his insatiable burning curiosity before curiosity wins and he shoves his notebook towards Kanaya.]

Draw me a diagram.

[Taking the paper and beginning to work reluctantly but-]

Do you have any idea how graphic your deliberate obtuseness will force this to be?
speakveryclearly: Kanaya very serious over a needle and thread in her hand and mouth. (Determined)

[Okay so all of this drawing takes almost five minutes. Thank god Susan's suggestion honed her sketching skills.]

FIGURE ONE: Pairs of trolls, both F/F, M/M, and F/M, holding hands with either smiles and hearts, or frowns and spades.

FIGURE TWO: The same trolls engaged in various sex acts, eliciting hearts or spades. Exhibit A: One troll kneels on the floor with a pail in front of her; mouth stained with genetic material, it can be inferred she has just performed cunnilingus on her partner, who lies on a bed with spread legs hanging off the edge. Exhibit B: Two standing trolls manually stimulate each other, ejaculating into the pail between them.

FIGURE THREE: Abstract depiction of the pails' contents as consisting of Mars signs, Venus signs, hearts, or spades, depending on its contributors.

FIGURE FOUR: The pails' contents being poured into two very large pails, one hearts and the other spades, held by the Imperial Drone.

FIGURE FIVE: The two pails are being poured together to form an incestuous slurry; they are each smaller than the Mother Grub, sessile and wingless, who regards this process fondly.

FIGURE SIX: Inside a cavity with the same shape as the mother grub's body, a Mars sign and Venus sign connect to one another surrounded by hearts and spades; an arrow shows the transition of this zygote into some sort of morula. Below are other such objects which arguably qualify as full-fledged blastospheres.

FIGURE SEVEN: The mother grub again, overjoyed at having just laid several thousand eggs. The last of these looks more like a "spiky ball".

FIGURE EIGHT: The eggs hatch into several larval trolls. The last of these, which hatched from the matriorb, has the same horns as the mother grub.

FIGURE NINE: Each of the larvae spin pupae.

FIGURE TEN: The pupated trolls, most of which appear alarmingly humanoid. The last, however, is a small, winged version of the Mother Grub.
