There's a note saying to come to the dining room an hour before midnight.

[But Poland was so sick, and would he really have gone anywhere alone that late? Lithuania frowns at it.]

I'm not sure if this is real or planted.

[There's nothing strange about the damp spot, it's not clear what it is.]

[Stiles shakes the curtain out and examines both the cloth and the area around it to see if there's anything else he might have missed.]

Maybe Poland thought it was a clue to opening a new secret passageway and we're missing a note that told him to eat the poisoned curtain. [His heart's not really in the sarcasm though.] That note just screams of a murder plot to anyone with half a brain though - if it was real, I don't think he would have fell for it unless it was delivered by someone he trusted.

Mm, he's not stupid. [Lithuania examines the top of the table next.]

[There's water spilled on the table, it seems to have come from the flower vase sitting there.]

[He'll head over to the crossbow bolt in the wall next and inspect it closely before he tries tugging it out to see how deeply it's embedded. Anything weird about it?]

Maybe the curtain was on the table at some point? [He's not sure, though. He returns to Poland to check what items he has on him--if he has his keys or anything unusual.]

[He does not have his keys or anything unusual on him.

The crossbow is deeply embedded.]

[Once he tugs the bolt out, he'll see if there's any blood or other markings on the tip.]

Yeah, if they struggled, that could have happened. Or maybe the killer tried to shoot him from there. [With that in mind, he'll carefully wedge the bolt back in the hole to see if he can tell from the angle approximately where the shooter might have been standing.]

He doesn't have his keys. I don't think he would have left his room without his keys, but it's possible the killer took them for some reason.

[In which case they should check Poland's room.]

[The shooter was probably standing somewhere in the general area of the kitchen door side between the door and window.]

Guess we know where to head to next then. Unless you think we've missed something in here?

[Lithuania checks the cabinets over and then checks to see if the door leading to the kitchen is locked in some manner or if Poland's body was the only thing blocking it. He can't help but look at Poland again, and his unhappiness is visible on his face before he tries to cover it up.]

Let's go to his room. We can come back here later if we have to.
