[As promised, on Sunday morning at 9 AM, the grandfather clock in the foyer begins to chime. The doors to the drawing room are left open, although the doors to the smoking room adjacent are locked. Set out in the drawing room is a fine selection of coffee, tea, fruit, and pastries. There are also enough chairs, lounges, and sofas for everyone to have a seat.

Once everyone has filed in, the doors to the drawing room will close and lock]

This is an NPC post as well as an open mingle. Players may reply to the NPC, or may discuss the game amongst themselves. Players will be locked in the room until 10 AM. Please see the plot and in character rule pages below. Anyone wishing to submit a murder for the week must do so by Monday at 9 PM EST.

Aight, nice to meetchu. I'm Beat.

[he looks ... really serious.]

Lemme tell you somethin' about me and about memories, Yuzu. I been on the opposite side of all this - my little sister Rhyme forgot who I am. I figure she's goin' through the same thing as you, yo... But I love her, so I'm always gonna do whatever I can for her. If we're really on TV, then we got our families' support - it don't matter if we don't remember em', they'll love us forever! So keep your chin up, aight?

[she can only blink in confusion as Beat starts his speech, but gradually the weight of it starts to hit; by the end she's shaking.]

Ah... ahaha....

...Thank you, Beat! I understand!

[the smile's a little shaky, but it's there. She's trying. Her mother's okay.]

No problem! Tha's all I really wanted to say!

[He gives a friendly smile back - though he probably needed to hear himself say that, too. These memories are still important to him, no matter what he's decided on. He just hopes he and everyone else can be strong.]

Your sister... will she be okay?

[Ack. He grimaces a bit at that question - she hit a nerve there. Her safety depends on him, so it's a complicated situation. Maybe he should have thought about that before comparing Yuzu to her.

But... he won't let these people stop him. Even if they try to kill him, he's getting Rhyme out of here. He'll just keep running with his righteous indignation from before.]

Hell yeah. I'm not gonna let anything happen to her! Even if I'm stuck in here...

[Technically that is possible for him. For now, she's "safe" inside one of the pins he brought.]
