...Half of the house is out of their minds with fever. All they're thinking about is how poorly they feel.

I can't say that I would fault a murderer this week. ...As a matter of fact, if anyone seems dangerously close to the brink of death and we are unable to find the mastermind... I would suggest that the only thing we could do is draw lots and decide on two sacrifices.

Maybe the people in charge would cure everyone while we were deciding because they wouldn't want a boring trial.
