Um, I'm pretty sure that falls under 'related to murder plots' category. As in she will murder my face off if she corners me and I refuse to tell her anything.

[A wince.] One of these days I really need to learn how to keep my mouth shut.

She thinks you're like her protege. [Back off Susan, Stiles' is totally Poland's.] She won't hurt you.

And if she does she has to deal with me! [Because Poland can definitely take Susan. Yup.]

Follow me. [Poland will lead Stiles out of the ballroom and to the basement.]

No way, that's May. I'm more like the lovable sidekick who for some reason is dressed in the exact same colors as a bullseye.

[follows!] Well, this is cliche.

[Poland laughs.] Sidekicks are always better than the main characters anyways.

Isn't it? I probably could have found it on my own if I hadn't gotten discouraged.

But, even so the rest of the prizes for trivia were kind of more geared towards killing people. I'm not interested in that. [Poland stops in front of the wine cellar, briefly appraising the wine bottles.]

Someone's got to stop the angsters and the brooders from getting premature wrinkles.

[Stiles stops when Poland does, glancing at the bottles curiously.] Totally with you there, I would have picked the same thing. Or the mystery box just to see what the hell it was.

[personal profile] notyetlost 2013-11-10 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Seriously! [Yes, thank you Stiles you understand the appeal of the mystery box.]

I'm just going to assume Susan over thought this, like she over thinks everything. Because anyone could have figured this out even without the "crappy vintage" clue if they pulled each bottle one by one.

[Poland points at a wine bottle marked '1863 Laguedoc.']

Tug that one.
humanic: (unsure)

[personal profile] humanic 2013-11-10 08:50 pm (UTC)(link)
The Lagoo--Lagway--the 1863 one? [tugs it!]

...I think this clue is biased against minors. I should make a complaint.
notyetlost: (can't touch this)

[personal profile] notyetlost 2013-11-10 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Laguedoc. [Poland's still not sure why he can pronounce that. Along with... other troubling things that damn bottle brought up.]

I can't even remember 1863 so.

[When Stiles pulls the bottle the shelf slides aside and a doorway opens in the wall; there is a stone staircase leading upwards.]

Tadah~.
humanic: (oh yeah?)

[personal profile] humanic 2013-11-10 10:07 pm (UTC)(link)
That's cool, I can't remember 1863 either. Maybe that year never existed at all.

[He peers in and whistles.] Sweet. Where does it lead?
notyetlost: (booooring)

[personal profile] notyetlost 2013-11-10 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
I wish.

[Poland steps in, motioning for Stiles to follow behind him. The staircase reaches a point where you can either keep climbing straight up a ladder, or go into a narrow crawl space.]

If you go through there it takes you above every room on the first floor. With peep holes.

If you take the ladder you can get into the smoking room... only problem is that the trap door won't open.
humanic: (surprised)

[personal profile] humanic 2013-11-11 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
[His eyes widen.]

The smoking room? [He stares up the ladder.] That's right...none of us have ever been in there when voting wasn't going on, have we?
notyetlost: (hold up)

[personal profile] notyetlost 2013-11-11 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
[Yes. Good. Focus on the smoking room Stiles. Do not think about the implications of there being peep holes for Every. Room. On the first. Floor.

Poland doesn't want to find your corpse when Alice is finished with you.]

Yeah, exactly. That's why I was like, wow! Until I actually got here and tried it anyways.
