This post will cover the weekend period from the end of trial Friday to Sunday afternoon, when new incentives will be announced. No murders will take place over this time.

Saturday 6AM | Ballroom

[A curious document can be found posted on the Ballroom door early Saturday morning.]

Rules for Spain
1. Preferably two to three people per day.
2. The ropes stay in place at all times. The gag is optional, but recommended.
3. The door to his room is to be kept open at nights. His room and his person are to be checked for weaponry daily.
4. If you can't tie proper knots, I shall teach you.
5. Remember that failing to eat and sleep in the assigned place will lead to punishment. Don't neglect yourself and ensure that he does so as well.
6. Abuse could cause him to weaken to the point of death as time goes on. Do so only if you understand the risks and are willing to accept it.
7. The signup sheet will be posted weekly.
8. Any further suggestions are welcome.

12. Once Spain has been immobilized, the USA cowboy hat must be put on his head and tied there so he can't shake it off.

[Kaoru has not touched any food at all this morning, but will dutifully sit in the ballroom while breakfast is served even though Clyde is no longer around to chat with. instead, a despondent silence seems to linger and there will not be many attempts to engage others in conversation. however, once more people are around, Kaoru will stand to address whoever is within earshot.]

Everyone, please listen... Mr. Latvia has asked for me to read the entirety of his diary, including his final request. I also have letters for Miss Rapture, Miss Leonhardt and Miss Sto Helit. [which will be delivered to their rightful owners. Spain's has been respectfully removed. Kaoru will then proceed to read Latvia's final request word for word; with that done:]

I ask that anyone who takes up his autopsy request treat his body with utmost respect. I will be burying him at noon, if anyone else wishes to attend or help. A banquet and song, I— [Kaoru pauses for a second, clearly struggling.] ...I will also do my best to bring these about as well and ask for the aid of anyone willing. I will leave the diary here for anyone who wishes to read it.

[anyone who reads the diary will find it's full of notes on Latvian culture, beliefs and tradition. if Lithuania looks, he may find an explanation for Latvia's window opening request; it was to allow his soul to pass on. there are a few pages in Latvian and some songs and poems, as well as sketches of folk costumes. notes on festivals and celebrations can be found alongside simple recipes, and a brief history that covers everything but 1918-1945.]

[Lithuania does read the diary. He doesn't look like he slept at all the night before, and he hasn't touched anything except water all morning, but he puts his full attention to the task.

He pauses on the things written in Latvian, though, and goes over it two or three times, because--]

I can read this.

[He's not sure what to think about that. It's the first time it's occurred to him, but thinking about it, he can speak Poland's language, too. Poland is still here, though, still breathing. Latvia--Latvia isn't, but all of these words come fluently to him and he doesn't know why.]

[ She's up early today only because of the nightmares mixed with the excitement of the eventual masquerade, which means she most likely hasn't slept at all and needs something to do to keep from getting too bored.

For a moment, Rapture regards her card quietly, then bursts aloud with laughter. She doesn't seem to elaborate on it though, because there are more important matters. ]

Latvia requested to me that Lithuania be the one to do the autopsy. I'm a musician, so obviously I know nothing about cutting open bodies — wether they're real or stage props.

[Susan will accept the brief letter and read it through at the table. She carefully folds it and puts it away.]

As far as a banquet goes, I don't know if it's prudent to create dishes to share amongst us. Perhaps some appropriate songs at one of the mealtimes.

[Rapture will receive a meaningful glance here. Latvia apparently liked her, at least enough to write a letter anyway.]

[She's not expected to be counted among the recipient of Latvia's personally penned letters. Annie looks startled, but accepts it nontheless.]

Saturday - 9 am - Ballroom

[If Poland looked slightly haggard over the week after last night Poland looks like he hasn't slept. Ever. He doesn't seem to have much interest in eating either. The bowl of cereal in front of him seems to be slowly disappearing though

and suddenly reappearing as flakes mysteriously sail across the room at people.]

[suddenly it is snowing cereal, what a magical time to be alive]

... [but really though, what is going on... Kaoru will look for the culprit!! which isn't too difficult to find.] —Lord Polska?

SUNDAY - FOYER - 1PM

[[At 1 PM, the grandfather clock in the foyer chimes. The display stand placed in the foyer last week is still there, but the card on it has been replaced by a new placard.]

By now, you're all intimately familiar with the cycle of life and death. Death is inevitable. Whether it's in this game or out in the world, we are all eventually powerless against the reaper's cold touch...or are we?

This week, whoever murders someone and gets away with it will be given the power of life and death over a single person they choose. It can be any person at all. You can save them from dying, kill them with a thought, prolong their lifespan, grant them immortality...or even bring them back from the dead perfectly intact if you so choose.

So who will you play God with? A deceased loved one? A sickly friend? A mortal enemy? Yourself? The ability will be granted to you once the game has ended...as long as you can get away with murder first.

Each week, we will be conducting a poll with YOU, the audience, to determine which players you want to see more of! The results are in!

Players who are immune will not be considered valid targets! If they are killed, no prizes will be awarded and no trial will be held! Immune players can still commit crimes and may still be considered suspects! In addition, each immune player will receive a secret about the game itself!

( Just chilling in his room, probably still tied to his bed or however this is going to work out. He seems to be taking this pretty well as far as anyone can tell right away.

The door is apparently open all the time so anyone can visit. )

[It is 6AM on Saturday and given that no one else has signed up yet, of course, Susan will take it upon herself to be responsible that day. Spain will be prodded with a poker if he's still asleep.]

[Poland's not here for duty or anything, but he's here to visit.]

You know if they put half as much effort into babysitting Annie like they do you I wouldn't be so pissed off about her all the time.

[The circumstances are entirely different, but murder's murder.]

Sunday night | 8 PM | Ballroom

[Once dinner is over, the lights will dim in the ballroom. The Hostess will come out dressed in a peach silk ballgown and looking unusually excited.]

I hope you didn't forget about the masquerade, everyone! And as wonderful as your costumes all are, some of them aren't quite suited for dancing, I'm afraid. If you would all be kind enough to return to your rooms, you will find much more suitable clothes to change into.

Now then, the masquerade starts in an hour. I expect to see you all down here!

[When the players enter their rooms, they'll find fancywear and a mask laid out on their bed. The outfit, while formal, will match whatever theme their costume is; for example, Alice will have an Egyptian style dress and mask, Sonia a cat mask, and so on.

Once they've returned to the ballroom, they'll find that most of the tables have been removed. There's still a few chairs by the buffet table that has been loaded with a delicious spread of delicate finger foods and champagne in case anyone needs a break. Though there's no sign of an orchestra or radio, music flows into the ballroom, ranging from jazz to classical to waltz. Feel free to request any songs from the Hostess, as long as they're from prior to the 1930's.]

[ Despite the harrowing facts and sudden realizations of today, Rapture really is as good as a performer as she says she is or... she has completely lost it. With her as the case, is there really any difference?

She looks absolutely gorgeous donned in her usual yellow and black motif. The long silk dress scoops down her back enough to show just the right amount of her skin as the cut ends just above her hips. Her masque is a gorgeous black number that matches with her gloves and she's donned another witches hat hairpin with the ribbons tied around her hair still kept in its ponytail. There are other touches of gold and black amongst her accessories, but what stands out most is her trademark eyeshadow and the pearl necklace around her neck.

Rapture knows there is only one thing that will make tonight a much better night, one thing that will completely take her mind off all the events that were prior to this moment and all of those that will follow after: music. She's already planned a performance for the night, but she truly hopes she can wrangle it to be an excellent one... for the good of the Stingers! ]

Hostess... Doris. I was wondering, do you think I could perform a song tonight?

[Susan returns to the ballroom in a dress that's somehow even wider and... pinker than the last one, covered in ruffles and lace and glitter. The expression on her face suggests that she's dangerously close to biting straight through her lower lip.

As she nears the ballroom door, she pauses. Shuffles closer one way. Turns to the side. Shuffles closer the other. ...Gets stuck for about 10 seconds before wriggling backwards and eying the doorway with a venomous glare.]

...I'm going back to my room.

[ She is totally in her element here. She probably wouldn't have chosen to wear an all-black gown normally, but she supposes it goes with the cat mask.

Regardless, she is certainly used to this kind of thing. She'll chase down just about anyone. ]

Care for a dance!

[Lithuania's outfit hasn't changed that much, as he was already in a suit. This one is more formal, though, and it comes with a dark, understated sort of mask to match. He hangs back, though, and watches the goings-on from the side. It's not that he doesn't know how to carry himself in a party situation, he's just never been especially fond of it. Anyway, it's a little difficult to get into anything resembling the right mood for a masquerade given the situation they're in.

Also, Lithuania is way too serious and doesn't know the definition of fun most of the time.]
