[Nothing unusual about the elevator.]

[Then he'll look around - the other rooms seem like they're covered, and once upstairs, same deal. So he'll proceed to the roof, floating above it and checking the whole surface for anything that may have been tossed onto it.]

[The roof itself looks fine, but is that the glint of something in the courtyard fountain below?]

[respecting]

[Whoa! Beat's eyes do catch a bit of light coming from that fountain! That seems like it could be something, so while he's already flying, he swoops down and lands beside it to peer into the water.]

[It's a pocket knife at the bottom of the fountain.]

[respecting]

Oh shit!

[A KNIFE! He better get that knife! ...Oh but last time he picked up a weapon it was a little awkward at trial cause then he was a suspect. ...And if he sticks his hand in the water, it'll get all cloudy with his stupid Frankenstein paint and could mess up the evidence.

Well damn. He'll lean over to squint and see what details he can make out through the water, and otherwise wait around to pull someone over to help.]

[It's one of the ordinary pocket knives found in the rooms.]

[Beat stares at it some more. Is the knife, or the water, bloody at all?]

[No, it isn't.]

[inthebones]

((Hopping in by request!))

[The Good Witch of the North will descend from the sky slowly in a bubble now to help out the poor Munchkin in his time of need.
Alternatively, Susan stumbles out towards the courtyard trying to fit through the door in her dress.]

What are you staring at?

[respecting]

Susan!

[he turns around, glad he didn't have to spend too much time guarding this thing.]

There's a knife in the fountain, yo! I can't get it widdout messin' it up. [He says, holding up a green hand for emphasis]

[inthebones]

Perhaps someone tossed it in to make a wish.

[Susan will edge as close to the fountain as she can before seating herself on the edge and leaning down into the water.]

I don't know that pocket-knives would ever really be used in a murder, but evidence is evidence.

[She'll fish it out eventually.]

Is the blade at all damaged, do you think?

[respecting]

I couldn't really tell wit' all the water. [He will certainly look as she holds it though, and digs in his pockets. Convenient that the bottom of his costume was just jeans.]

I got mine on me though... we could compare it.

[It isn't.]

[inthebones]

[And Susan squints at it for a few moments before deciding that it isn't. She'll hand it to Beat since technically it was his find.]

Make sure you bring it to the trial tomorrow.

Guess it's pretty ordinary. Weird...

[He takes it, then]

Yeah, I will. Thanks.

[inthebones]

It seems there's been findings cropping up all over the place. We'll have to make sense of it somehow tomorrow...

[And because Beat is on his way to the conservatory to make more findings, Susan will nod and turn back towards the door.]

Are you going to explore the grounds?

I was goin' to the conversetary since it's right there, but I can do the grounds after. If there's stuff all over, then who knows.

[Seeing her head back in, he waves a bit with his non-knife hand]

Anyways, thanks again. I'll see ya at trial.

[inthebones]

...Conservatory.

Good luck, then. Make sure you search thoroughly.

[Susan the Good Witch bestows the gift of enunciation and pronunciation on Beat with a wave of her magic wand and vanishes back inside.]

Wha? ... Oh, yeah!

[Beat walks to the CONSERVATORY. Good has been done here.

Nothing seems off at a glance.... but he'll search this room more carefully than the last. Anything under the table and chairs? How about inside the flower pots?]

[There's a sharp looking something underneath one of the bushes.]

[Well, he is just finding all of the sharp things today. Beat crouches down by that bush to have a closer look]

[It's a pair of scissors. On the blade is a smear of blood.]

[respecting]

Whoa.

[Beat looks at scissors on the ground. Beat looks at the pocket knife in his hand. Beat puts the pocket knife down and picks up the scissors on the ground, looking at both sides of the blade. Where is the smear? How big is it?]

[The smear is along the blade, and it's not much, but it looks like someone tried to wipe it off.]
