It's like Sonia said, some people actually enjoy it.
It only seems like overkill dismembering her and placing her limbs around the mansion, but someone certainly wants to put on a performance to top the last four eliminations.
I-I'm not sure if you were being honest when you said you wouldn't murder anyone, or if it was just to cover yourself for the time that you would and while it does seem like you to do something so... overboard, you don't seem the kind to do something so... Mm.
Well, you're the one with the intuition. Who do you think did it?
I much prefer to scare children by telling them I'm a werewolf anyway. [ Is she being serious? With Rapture, one can never tell. ] But I do tend to play games by my own rules, that's just how the Stingers are.
It's not that simple this time. Especially with two murders and six suspects. It's obviously not Gundam and as great of a performance it would be, I don't think it's you either. You wouldn't so blatantly kill Belarus, especially after how Minatsuki's trial turned out. I know not to underestimate your "kind," but not even you could be fooling us for that long.
That still leaves three other people, not including myself. Altman and Belarus were two completely different people, possibly killed in the same way, but dismembering one and not the other almost seems like they want to present a kind of... show. It's almost like it's deliberate of them to go over the top as a means of some kind of statement, quite possibly just to see how we'd react.
Maybe their curiosity also got the best of them. Altman might have been their intended murder, but if they also asked about the extra prize then they would have to eliminate Belarus as well.
Maybe they didn't intend to do it for the money or three wishes, maybe they did. The stakes are higher than ever this week and someone certainly thinks that the cards and planets are in alignment enough for them to win.
We could assume that there's a reason of why they dismembered her. We could also assume they did it just because they could, just like Bernkastel did when she eliminated Lydia. [ She smirks. ] Someone must have really wanted to see your reaction though.
There's a lot to factor in with this one: the incentive, the prizes. It could easily just be someone who doesn't recognize the person being held captive as much as wanting the money or wishes. It could even be someone who did it for fun.
It's like I said, someone really wants to put on a show. Evidence will probably help us much better in this case than trying to create a profile this time.
[ She crosses her arms, tilting her head just a bit. ] Is something bothering you?
[Sometimes he really hates that he can't stop himself from telling anyone anything]
When we went into Miss Belarus's room Thursday morning Miss Sto Helit asked why I hadn't stayed with her overnight. I thought it would be inappropriate but... I can't help but wonder if things would have turned out differently if I had.
Heh, to think that I'd actually put some kind of notion of chivalry above someone's safety. I'm the worst...
[ Rapture shrugs. The action seems indifferent, but she doesn't seem to be easily tossing away Latvia's confession as if it's nothing. ]
Unless you're psychic, you couldn't have known.
The prize required one of two people to be eliminated, but it didn't state they could choose who. There's still someone that isn't on any of those lists who could have easily been in her place. Maybe it was just chance that they asked who one of them was and got Belarus. Then they had no choice but to be rid of her lest they had to deal with three eliminations.
Well, there's no use lamenting on it now. What's done is done and all that can be done is try to figure out who the culprit is.
She made a few enemies here too. It's not enough to deserve being "murdered," but she wasn't exactly pleasant company for a whole lot of people either.
I'm not saying she deserved it, but she certainly knew how to put on a show too.
For all we know, if they chose to take Altman out first, then it could have been someone who's never even interacted with her but had to choice to eliminate her because of the rules. There's more to speculate on which means any one of us had a reason for doing it, even if we vehemently deny it.

Annie poisoned her sewing needle and we overlooked that. Who's to say that there might not be a different type of weapon involved here too?

[He takes another deep breath, this trial was the worst from the get go]
I... I don't understand why anyone would do something like that.

But you know, considering you're such a performer yourself that seems right up your ally...
I-If you hadn't been so insistent on not murdering people before... I might just suspect you as well.

[ Oh, Rapture. Only she could say something like that while being as cool as a cucumber. ]
no subject
[Because honestly? It feels like she's been playing so many head games with him he can't tell when she's serious and when she's not]

[Okay, not the point to be focusing on right now]
It does seem strange... I just can't understand why. Only one of them would have had an extra prize on their head, and Mr. Altman was left alone...
[He knows he shouldn't, but he couldn't help but feel bitter over the fact that his corpse hadn't been completely desecrated]
Maybe they just didn't have the time... It must take a lot of energy to dismember someone like that...

This... This isn't fair! Why couldn't they just leave her in one piece? It's one thing to murder someone but to desecrate their corpse as well?
I-I really hope you're kidding about my reaction. If I had any influence in this at all then...
[He shakes his head and goes quiet. There's obviously something plaguing him]

Or maybe I would have died as well...

If we all went around murdering people that got on our nerves then no one would be left.

But still, that's just too much to not be intentional. I don't know what point they were trying to prove. I just hope we figure out who it was...
