...Not a very clever killer. Surely they'd have known the victims' rooms would be searched for evidence. Which makes me think they intended for this pile of clothing to be found very quickly, of course.
...Mr. Barrow and Latvia are much too short, of course.
But... then you suggest the killer intended us to think that Michael had done it, then committed suicide in some act of desperation? The trouble is, while I could see him committing murder to protect his family and then committing suicide right afterwards, this murder is entirely out of the question for him. And everyone knew it. Michael certainly couldn't have carried out this act.
Perhaps... But... Yes, it's true; while I would not put suicide out of the question for him, this grisly type of murder is extremely out of character for the gentle person I met.
Gentle or not, he couldn't handle touching Dave's body. Even the sight of it was too much for him. That sort of reaction -- it might have been the single most genuine thing I've seen here.
...So we have a timeline, then. Michael and Belarus are poisoned. Michael dies first, and the killer goes to his room to retrieve some articles of clothing. They put it on, go to Belarus's room where she still hasn't succumbed, and a struggle takes place. She is killed, and her body is taken to the kitchen and dismembered. Afterwards, the killer changes and replaces the clothing in Michael's room.
If they indeed intended to frame Michael, it would explain why his own body was left untouched. But the dismemberment... it's too much to believe.
...Perhaps, at the very least, we could potentially say that they wanted us to think it was a man who carried out the deed.
There must be some reason Belarus was dismembered. They consciously intended to do so all along if they swapped clothing in advance - and consciously intended to leave Michael's body alone. You believe that they took enjoyment in it, but... wouldn't two bodies be more pleasurable than one?
It's a matter of time, isn't it? Time... and manoeuvrability. A dead body is heavy; the dead body of an adult male even more so. Belarus was quite small.
Belarus and Michael actually differed in weight by only three pounds according to the cards. Of course, they might not have consulted beforehand and simply assumed...
I'm inclined to think, still, that it was more than mere ego or sociopathy. Something about Belarus they wanted to hide.
[...A slight sigh.]
We haven't examined the body parts very thoroughly yet, have we?
So the killer may be trying to get us to think Michael had been the original attacker? What a foolish idea. That didn't work when Siren tried it and it will not work now!

[ A pause. ] Men's clothes in a size I would wager is close to Michael's.

Ah, I know! The killer must be trying to frame Mr. Gundam!

Yes; that timeline sounds like as solid an idea as we've had so far.
But... if it was meant to be a framing... it was a weak try indeed.

[And Susan will glance towards the table of body parts and clamp her handkerchief even more firmly over her nose.]
