Well...I think the person I forgot is someone who I worked with. I met them in the Nevada desert with a group of other people, who I can remember, and from there I began...supervising them? It's hard to describe with this amnesia, but I also know they were with me in the place I was kidnapped to before here.
Being in the same situation as you are, I believe it fair to say that this means they probably are the most important person in your life. I'm quite sure mine is, for one reason or another.
But you're correct. I can't summon anything besides a normal amount of concern for 'my' person despite knowing they're meant to be important; it's simply impossible when you've forgotten.
The importance of a person is weighed to me by my memory of them. ...If they die and I remember them beforehand, I will grieve, but I can't do anything about it for now. They're just a stranger to me, as sad as it may be.
Precisely. If you're telling the truth about not remembering, it wouldn't be for that reason you would kill. Somewhat paradoxically, you'd have to extraordinarily altruistic to murder for the sake of a stranger.
The other incentive, though, is equally lucrative for everyone.
Agreed, on both counts. We'll have to see what the others say and anyone is in their right to think I'm lying. I know that I'm not, but I can't really prove it beyond words for now.
That makes sense to me, but at the same time. I would trust somebody who can admit the person there is important to them over someone who doesn't know. Just because a person with nothing to hide would admit it.
...That's certainly true, although we descend into the game of 'they know I know they would know that I know' and so on and so forth until the killer arrives at a decision of what to say about their particular person.

But I know she might really be telling the truth.
