That is how it works in real life! [ Sonia frowns. ]

I really do not... I don't think that someone would do this just because.

Someone they cared about was in trouble. I'm not excusing that...all of us are worried about someone, and they're just saying that person was more important.

But maybe it was someone who knew we'd be looking for people like that, so they decided to make it look like some kind of vicious murder to take suspicion off themselves.

It's too high-risk! Too likely to be caught... I firmly believe that we are dealing with someone arrogant.

The person you're describing, without empathy, who kills for fun. Why this week? Why not earlier? If they don't have empathy, they can't care about whoever it is that's being held hostage. And let's assume Belarus was the special target.

A killer who kills for money or power is completely different than a serial killer. You're letting them get you mixed up! I mean, they might be arrogant, but most killers are. That doesn't mean they fit this to a T. That would be someone more like Bernkastel, who seemed to just find this stuff fun, and she went first.

Why this week? Why not! The prize is not only a certain someone, but material possessions. Many sociopaths are entirely occupied with such things; it is excellent motivation to move. A killer can quite easily be motivated by both things- what about those who take trophies from their victims? Women known to kill for money, for possessions, and the joy of it?

But your profile is for a serial killer. That's not the situation.

[You're kind of dense.]

This profile also fits thrill killers.

[ And Sonia's pretty sure Felicia is just being contrary for the sake of being contrary, which is exactly what she has done at every single trial so far. ]
