Precisely what I mean. Is it worth looking so thoroughly for bloody garments when we only have two days? What if they've been to torn to pieces and there's one piece in each room?
The problem is we don't actually have a lot of hard evidence yet. We have a ton of body parts and some ashes, but none of that points to a specific person, or even helps us narrow it down. If we can't find anything else, then we might as well look for the clothes so we've got something.
...I suppose searching doesn't preclude thinking, either. What we need to think about while we run about the house is to determine who could have had the opportunity to poison Belarus and Mr. Altman and the means by which the poison was distributed.

Yeah, plus even if we do find it's poisoned, where does that lead us? Touko said that Belarus refilled her flask in the bar, so it still could have been anyone who knew her well enough to poison the vodka bottle before she got there.
