It didn't seem relevant at the time, though if you ask me... he seems paranoid. More than everyone else in this place. It's almost like he thinks someone is always out to get him.
Maybe he thought to use that opportunity to eliminate before he was eliminated. Latvia and Belarus were both on the dispensable list, after all...
For all we know, it could just be another act. It doesn't seem all that implausible after the last few trials and he was very close to at least one of the victims, maybe enough to lure her into a false sense of security to poison her at least.
Though I don't know why he would choose Altman of all people as the other one, but I don't think we should rule Latvia out entirely.
The nations are so vehemently protective of one another. Somehow... Ah, I just don't know. Why would a nation be tempted by money of all things? It does not make sense.
Thank you for sharing, Miss Nevermind. But, ah... Mr. Latvia does not seem like a likely culprit, but you have said that we may be looking at someone who is not likely, correct? I apologize, I do not entirely understand what signs we are looking for. This personality type is... admittedly not something that I have had to handle before.
Still, it would be difficult to feign his level of anxiety. Miss Sto Helit has already pointed out that Miss Rapture is seemingly too obvious, and Mr. Tanaka has been called the "bark" type. [WHATEVER THAT MEANS.]
By 'not likely', I do not mean someone like Latvia. By 'not likely', I mean... The person we are seeking is a confident, kind, charismatic, seemingly normal person. [ And sorry but Latvia kind of. Lacks the confidence and charisma here. ]
I see... [Kaoru definitely agrees with that silent assessment...]
All right, I believe that such a thing makes more sense. Thank you for explaining. Using such a list as a guide, it would seem then that our most likely culprits are Mr. Clyde, Miss Aozaki and Miss Alice, then. ...While Miss Rapture does not fit all of those, it may be early to rule her out, as well. She reacted strangely when I alerted her to the murder...
Miss Sto Helit and I have figured that the dispersal of the body parts most likely occurred sometime between midnight and five o'clock in the morning, so I suppose alibis would not be entirely helpful... Perhaps the room searches will reveal more.

Then that still rules him out. This killer... they wouldn't be so nervous...

[You didn't hear the agonized wail Poland heard when Latvia looked in the icebox in the foyer.]
And I'm not just saying that because we're nations. I swear.

...I really don't think he has something like this in him.
[Besides he's one of the people in the house that makes Poland's stomach look pretty sturdy by comparison when it comes to this kind of gore.]

No, I do not think so.
