[a+ rapture truly a legit star... not that anyone's ever had any doubts!]
Speaking of your band mates, one of them is supposedly taken? [re: incentives.] How do you feel about that, Rapture? There's been doubts if these people were even real.
I don't think it's actually Riot. He wouldn't agree to something like this unless it was for a publicity stunt. Even then, it makes no sense for him to be held captive. If anything, he would send Minx for that kind of stuff.
Riot's... Riot. He wouldn't put himself in "distress" like that. For all I know, it could be Pizzazz trying to get back at me.
Hm. What do you suppose these people are, then? Digitally reproduced copies on-screen, or look-alikes dressed up to resemble the people we know?
[a beat.]
They've got the appearance and demeanor down quite pat, I do have to say. Isn't it still unsettling, that they'd know who's close to us in the first place? Maybe not you, who's already popular back home, but some of us are much less so.
Actors, probably. [ It's plausible. ] It wouldn't surprise me with how much money this entire thing probably costs. If they can use a throwaway mansion, who's to say they can't hire professional actors that look like people we know?
I never thought about it. [ She shrugs. Rapture caring about people other than Riot and Minx is a very rare chance. ] All I know is that the real Riot wouldn't do something like this unless there was a very good reason. They only way of proving it's him is having him actually speak, because nobody in the entire world can replicate a voice like his!
...Yeesh. Just how much budget is this thing running on?
Fair enough. Azaka's power should be impossible to replicate, although if they set her free, she'll probably burn the whole room down with her. [A beat.] I'd recognize the glove I made for her if she has it, though. Either way, this is astoundingly elaborate.
Set design practically makes or breaks a performance. The more elaborate it is, the move involved your audience will become. They obviously enjoy putting on a show so much that they're willing to pay the highest degree to make it impressive.
See? There's no way to actually prove it's them just by video alone. They're trying to cater to the more desperate players who would be willing to take something like that by word alone.
I'd say it depends on the actors too, but I can understand your point. I don't need an elaborate museum when my works go on display, but people can't quite compare to dolls, all things considered.
It's still a sympathetic incentive, regardless. Quite the jarring contrast considering the crime scene this week, isn't it?

[ She just sees no point in wallowing in misery when she's already gone through all that. ]
Knowing Minx and Riot are counting on me to make us shine more than ever is more than enough keep striving for the best.
