It probably wouldn't work. If Belarus and Altman were poisoned through liquor, then they obviously couldn't taste it at all. It has been said that they drank different types, hasn't it? Although I'm not sure if Miss Belarus drank vodka exclusively...
Maybe it wasn't the drinks at all, we've already had poisoning via needle after all...
