vytis: (I don't know what hurt you)

[Dripping? Lithuania looks up, and tries not to think too hard about his lack of shock at the sight. If there isn't anything, though, he'll try to pinpoint the source of the smell--maybe there's something behind the books on the shelves?]
vytis: (oh tell me why)

[personal profile] vytis 2013-10-23 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
A-ah... [Lithuania takes a moment to put on a pair of gloves before he picks up the bloody whatever-it-is.]
vytis: (I'm not superhuman)

[personal profile] vytis 2013-10-23 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
[Lithuania curses loudly in Lithuanian. He doubts he can identify someone just by their leg alone, but, after a moment in which he flails a little trying to decide what to do with the leg, he carefully places it down on the floor and calls out loudly enough that he hopes someone nearby hears him.]

Th-there's a leg in the library!

[Really, how else can he say it?]
inthebones: (Surprise)

[personal profile] inthebones 2013-10-23 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
Belarus is gone!

[An echoing voice comes from down the hall; it is likely recognizable as Susan's. There is a spot of color in her cheeks as she appears in the doorway - agitation that isn't normally there.]

...Wait -- What did you just say?
vytis: (danger hidden in his eyes)

[personal profile] vytis 2013-10-23 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
B-Belarus is-- [Lithuania curses again, more angrily than before.]

There's a woman's leg in the library, behind some books.
inthebones: (Confused)

[personal profile] inthebones 2013-10-23 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
A leg?!

[And now her voice ascends to normally unheard of heights. Susan gapes for a moment before holding up a finger.]

Excuse me.

[She will vanish from the doorway and after a period of about 10 seconds, reappear with her hair tied back in a bun and the expression in her eyes controlled once again.]

...There was a significant quantity of blood in her room. We'll need to search for the other body parts - the murderer might have disposed of some evidence by dismembering the corpse, but no doubt they left tracks everywhere.

[Lithuania looks to be wound even tighter than usual, though it's with anger instead of nervousness.]

There were a couple of drops of blood in the hidden room in the library. ...Doing something like this to her...
inthebones: (Solemn)

[personal profile] inthebones 2013-10-23 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
...She entered her room last night about 8. I can't think why Latvia didn't stay with her - we all know that there can be skeleton keys floating about all over the place now, what with the quiz and the extra help.

My ability to locate souls has gone as well, though that's no surprise.

[Susan shakes her head.]

Let's... bring it to the foyer. We must tell the others.
vytis: (temper our souls with flame and furnace)

[personal profile] vytis 2013-10-23 05:28 am (UTC)(link)
I wonder if he would have been able to do anything if he had been there or if we'd be dealing with two dismembered corpses instead.

[Hahaha little do they know... But since they can't read that number up there, Lithuania will pick up the leg again.]

...Do you think finding something like this will count for the clock?
inthebones: (Anger)

[personal profile] inthebones 2013-10-23 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
...True enough.

[A slight pause.]

I suppose she must have been the one named as the target for the extra incentive for murder. In the end, it was too much. But the person who did this...

[Her tone is grim and disgusted. She leaves the sentence trailing.]

...I should think so, though. We must find all the pieces, regardless.

((Bed now, just as a warning!))

[Lithuania nods.] In a mansion as large as this they could be almost anywhere--especially if whoever did it had a skeleton key.

[Should they be checking the empty rooms?]

((Goodnight!))
inthebones: (Skeptical)

[personal profile] inthebones 2013-10-23 03:53 pm (UTC)(link)
[Susan will refrain from saying that eventually, the smell of putrefying flesh would probably alert them to all the pieces, anyway.]

Let's be swift, then.

...In the future, since everyone seems so unreasonably incapable of adhering to the partner plan, we should at least move our dressers in front of the door before we sleep.

Or maybe just stay in the ballroom. We can sleep in shifts of three or four people at a time.

[Lithuania will head out to--eugh--look for more pieces, though.]
inthebones: (Talk down)

There aren't that many of us anymore. Perhaps we could each take a tablecloth as bedding.

[On that note, Susan will nod and follow Lithuania out of the library. It was very disconcerting not being able to locate people anymore, but then... she'd simply have to find them on her own.]
