[At 9 AM precisely, the old grandfather clock chimes once again, and the doors to the drawing room are opened. They will remain open until everyone has come inside, after which they will shut behind them. It is not possible to leave on your own, although perhaps if you have a specific purpose the hostess will allow you to go, as long as you are accompanied by a partner.

The room is set up comfortably, with several tables by the fireplace set out to assist with the trial. The Hostess will also remain in a seat near the fireplace, next to the scales on the mantle. At lunch, the doors will open to bring in a large meal on an automatically rolling buffet, and at 3 PM, tea and finger sandwiches will be served. You'll be able to enjoy the trial in comfort, of course, but the information cards set out on tables will not allow you to forget your true purpose here.

At 7 PM, the trial will adjourn for the day. Players will be escorted by the Hostess to the ballroom, where dinner and wine will be served until 10 PM, at which point players will be required to return to their wings in groups with their wingmates and will be locked in their bedrooms until 8:30 AM the following morning.]

Well, I like it up there, so ... a lot. I actually spent less time Tuesday and Wednesday though - cause someone threw a freakin' rock at me last time!

Well... you were right, man, I was hella down, thinking about all kinds of depressin' stuff. But after that I was too pissed off to think about it! So I guess it worked for somethin'... but I wasn't gonna kill myself.

You are aware that his first skill listed is 'flight'?

...In any case, you're the only one who can make it up to the roof without a lot of hassle, so I suppose it's not unusual. ...I wouldn't spend so much time alone in the future, though.

[Poland waves his notebook around.] Do you carry this thing everywhere or do you have that much empty space in your head that you can fill it with vapid skill sets of total strangers?

[Don't listen to him he's just bitter about last week Susan.]

If you had read my skill set, perhaps you would have seen 'eidetic memory'.

Yours appears to have left out 'willful ignorance' but I suppose they're not comprehensive.

If your memory is so great then I'm sure you totally remember how ignorant you were last week.

Incidentally, I don't recall you making much progress in solving the crime.

We're not disposable, even if you seem to think so without our people tied to our backs.

We have every right to live too if we're innocent, you don't get to decide who's life is valuable!

I guess so. I jus' don't know what to do with myself around here, so I ain't found a place to fit in. ... And I had a lot on my mind that I didn't wanna talk about.

If it helps, I don't think any of us really know what to do with ourselves.

Still, try to stay where there are people if you can. You've created large holes in your alibi during the times when Dave could conceivably have been killed.

Yeah, well... alibi ain't everything you know? Pretty much everyone but Spain said they went to bed early, anyone coulda lied about that and snuck out!

...If they had the skeleton key, then, yes, I suppose that's true. He could have been killed at any time of night. It isn't like last week where we had to account for the victim's habits.

Yeah. Though, if we can figure out when he died, that'll do something for it! And I think I got a hint... when we was on the crime scene, that blood pooled round the body was still sticky. So how long's it take blood to dry?
