[At 9 AM precisely, the old grandfather clock chimes once again, and the doors to the drawing room are opened. They will remain open until everyone has come inside, after which they will shut behind them. It is not possible to leave on your own, although perhaps if you have a specific purpose the hostess will allow you to go, as long as you are accompanied by a partner.

The room is set up comfortably, with several tables by the fireplace set out to assist with the trial. The Hostess will also remain in a seat near the fireplace, next to the scales on the mantle. At lunch, the doors will open to bring in a large meal on an automatically rolling buffet, and at 3 PM, tea and finger sandwiches will be served. You'll be able to enjoy the trial in comfort, of course, but the information cards set out on tables will not allow you to forget your true purpose here.

At 7 PM, the trial will adjourn for the day. Players will be escorted by the Hostess to the ballroom, where dinner and wine will be served until 10 PM, at which point players will be required to return to their wings in groups with their wingmates and will be locked in their bedrooms until 8:30 AM the following morning.]

It would be nice if we should not have to fret at all about the possibility of anyone else dying at all, unrealistic as it may seem by this point.

Evidently, there are some vast differences between your world and mine. But perhaps we should save this cosmological discussion for another time.

[Susan will refrain from saying what she actually means, which is 'I've never heard such nonsense in my life.' Everyone knew that stars were nothing more than tiny balls of fire hanging in the sky, barely a mile or so across.]

...I just want to see how easily you can manipulate the body. You certainly don't need to disintegrate it.

I suppose there's always the globe, though it doesn't quite fit as smoothly into the palm of a hand.

...Round projectiles aside, I do wish there was a bit more to work with.

Perhaps we should reexamine the artwork again.

...It strikes me, too, that a blow on the back of the head leaving a bloodstain across the desk is a bit strange - unless he were indeed sleeping with his head laid down, as you suggest.

That's... certainly a find, if true. He told me that he came from a situation where he was about to be pitted in a fight against a monster.

I don't think any of those skills are relevant to committing murders surreptitiously, though.

Unless the gash was made by his head striking the corner of the desk... Examining the artwork again might be a good idea, and maybe his room, too.

...If the people in the rooms adjoining Dave's don't mind, I don't see any objection to you using theirs.

We took it out of the room, yes. It's just to the right as you step out.

I think she can exorcise any spirits she wants from inside.

His keys and the skeleton key are free to be used, I think. There's no harm in going through it once again.

Miss Carter's body is already outside, so yes, perhaps we should. Whoever wants to observe can come as well.

[Susan will nod towards the door.]

[The body lies covered with the cloak Susan was wearing earlier on in the trial. She will remove it now with a slight sigh and... prop the body up......]

...Alright. Pretend Miss Carter is approaching to assault you. How would you normally restrain her?

[yeah... yeah Kaoru won't bother addressing the spirit-y things anymore because VOODOO MAGIC.]

That will be three potential graves we will be in need of by tomorrow's eve. [...putting it into perspective like that, it's enough to cause Kaoru's already unsettled expression to become more prominent.]

Ah... [Siren bows apologetically... to the corpse.] Forgive me Miss Carter.

And you will want to get out of the way Miss Sto Helit.

[inthebones]

Ah. ...Right, then.

[Susan will. stand Sharon as straight as she can. And then promptly step quickly to the right, leaving the body to slowly slump to the ground again.

Hopefully Siren will snag it in time.]

Galactica... [Once Susan has moved, Siren's bracelets start to glow as her hair gains sentience.] Tsunami!

[A section of hair shoots out from her head while the rest flairs out behind her, as if caught in a wind. Siren's smaller section of hair ensnares itself around Sharon's neck as she slumps lifelessly. Siren's hair seems incapable of actually supporting Sharon's body and she hits the ground. It's apparent that Siren is still strangling her however.]

[Susan will observe this sequence with a nod. ...Obviously, Siren could be holding back, but there was no point in saying as such.]

Can you only grasp one part of the body at a time? If you used more of your hair, possibly?

I go for the neck because their first instinct is to grab at the hair around it.

[More hair shoots out to join the hair around Sharon's neck, that would ensnare her wrists if she were alive.] From there I ensnare their wrists.

[Even with the additional hair, she still can't support Sharon's body.]

Once trapped, I use the ability of my bracelets to remove their starseed. [She can't demonstrate that in her current state however.]

Yo man, if you goin' to Dave's room, lemme come wit! I don't have to go inside, I'm just finna see if it's soundproof in there.

[Miss Belarus did seem quite bitter about what happened with Miss Ukraine...] You wish that Miss Leonhardt had been punished for her crime though, don't you?

Afterall, it's not fair that she is still alive after using Miss Ukraine as her scapegoat. Maybe if punishment for her crime is the closest you could come to rectifying what happened last week you'd take it.
