murder manor - reunion part II

murder manor reunion

[You are in a darkened theater.

In front of you is an enormous cinema screen. On it plays video of the manor, accompanied by appropriate sound effects and background instrumentals when fitting. The seat you're sitting on is large and plush, and while there's many of them, there's enough room in the theatre for you to fully recline the seat into a comfortable bed if you wish.

Follow the stairs up and you'll reach what should be the projection room. There are no projectors in here, however; it is simply a large and well-lit room above the main seating area, and a good place to hang out with your fellow eliminated contestants if shouting at each other across the aisles proves too much to handle.

If you leave the theatre through the door in the back, you'll find yourself in a hall. On one end is a concession stand. It's stocked with standard movie snacks - popcorn, candy and the like - but if you're feeling the urge for something else, you'll be able to find it stocked somewhere in the back. On the other end is a table with thirty wrapped bags and a placard reading 'A star for our stars! Please accept these lovely giftbags as a token of appreciation for your hard work, sponsored by [illegible smudge]'. Each bag has a tag bearing the name of someone in the mansion; you will only be able to open the bag with your name on it. As soon as you open it, any memories that have been taken from you, including those of the other people in the mansion that you may have forgotten, will be returned in their entirety. Within the bag are also objects from your home that you may want for your stay here, though you will find no weapons.

There are no other doors in the hall save for the one leading back into the theatre room. There are also no windows; it is impossible to tell where you are and what is going on in the outside world. Any attempts to break out will fail. So in the meantime, why not sit back and enjoy the show?]

Murder Manor reunion week continues! This week is taking place outside the game (and will not be remembered by the living characters). Once the week is over, the living characters will be right back where they left off, Sunday night in the manor.

During the times when Doris is taking questions, characters will not be able to talk about things that are 'off topic.' They can talk and reunite with one another, but need to focus on things relevant to that week or topic of discussion. Any time they get off topic, they will find themselves stuck trying to make the words come out of their mouth and will simply trail off. There will be breaks where characters can talk without this restriction, but the same will happen to anyone who, at any time, starts trying to talk about anything to do with there being a Mastermind or player to benefit from the game or planted player who isn't Lithuania. Codes and other attempts to get around this rule will still result in trailing off.

All the living characters have now arrived, and all characters may participate, although Yuzu is not here and characters may notice Belarus, Clyde, and Michael Altman seem to be empty shells.

No really, it's not bad. Try it!

[Guess who's joining Lithuania in the cocktail tasting]

I ate Lithuania's bodyweight in sugar earlier, I'll pass.

[Definitely drinking though, he spent two months deliberately staying as sober as possible and look where all that effort got him!]

A lot of them are quite sweet...

How about a Frozen Follicle instead? I can't remember the last time I had drinks so fancy...

Some of them are a bit complicated...

( Looking at you, Summoning Circle. )

Anything you have to set on fire is too complicated.

[But he'll give it a go.]

Can we just skip the fire part.

( Because otherwise, it sounds like a good drink. )
vytis: (but the ones I aim to pleaseth)

[personal profile] vytis 2013-11-28 08:00 pm (UTC)(link)
We should at least set the first one on fire--for posterity.

Then I guess that means I should make it too.

( Getting this drink started out, yeah. )

I wouldn't trust anyone else to draw weird circles in it.

[Watching! Maybe he just wants to see something catch on fire in this place...]

( Look at this really weird, abstract circle being drawn at the bottom of the glass. Look at these lines going around it and the perfect right angle--- Spain did you just make a warped clock a la Persistence of Memory.

Adding each vial one by one now. Oh, this smells kind of nice, how promising. Going to presume there's a match or a lighter in the box and no one cans top me.

And he sets it on fire.

[You are a man of many strange talents, Spain. The fire is impressive, though!]

...Maybe we should try setting some of the other drinks on fire, too.

( Just going to let this flame die out--- wait. )

No.

Yeah that's because you have to actually get the liquor home to mix it to make it fancy, as opposed to finishing it on the way home from the liquor store.

[Poland sucks on the cherry.]
balzams: (Angry ● Offended)

[personal profile] balzams 2013-11-28 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
[Excuse you!]

I do not drink it all on the way home! Most stores won't even serve me!

[Latvia no! That's not a comeback!]
notyetlost: (i am rocking this sweater)

[personal profile] notyetlost 2013-11-28 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, better drink up now then before uncute-Doris tries to card you.
balzams: (Uneasy ● Unwanted)

[personal profile] balzams 2013-11-28 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd like to see her try and stop me.

[He's in his element. Latvia's not going to let anyone take this away from him]
